It was the midnight hour and I couldn't help but bask in the light of the stars, without the moon in the sky the night looked like a blanket of stars. Very little cloud coverage and here it was easier to see the lighter stars compared to deeper in the city. One of the few things I missed from the world I was from.
Funny how I now missed things from back then when I finally had a purpose here. Funny and kinda sad. Maybe sad wasn't the right word, more like nostalgic.
Things weren't the same as they once were and things seemed to have started going right in my life. Doubt it would last long though.
