"Coulda huh?" Giving a somewhat sad smile. "Whats pathetic is that if you had actually done something I probably wouldn't have done it." Not that it was anyone's fault but my own but certainly would have had a much stronger reason not to run. Guess sometimes it's the small things that count in life.

"Well, yeah." That part was obvious. "You know, it'd be easier if you knew what you wanted. You keep sending mixed signals and I'm certainly not enjoying this roller coaster ride." Part of me wondered if he'd be surprised that I knew what a roller coaster even was.

He stayed silent, looking away. Make a decision? Easier said than done. How could he, when he didn't know himself? It was fun, he admitted, having someone to play with like that, but... could he make that decision? He'd always thought he'd be alone forever, but now...
