"Sister, stolen by the Council..." he sadi off handedly. Why was he telling her all this? He had no idea. Maybe that thing with Raven had sent him more off the edge than he thought. "You don't talk much, do you?"

She shook her head beforecontinuing down the alley. "Not man people to talk to. Elizabeth is too busy with some big black bird thing. So busy she let me out without supervision."

She blinked, looking at him. "And you think I'm crazy?" A few passerbys looked down the alley before moving on.

"Um..." he almost seemed to be thinking on that one for a moment before replying. "No, you thought I was a hero. You definitely crazy," though there was something about that that was niggling at thte back of his mind.

"Sure," she wasn't so trusting with new people but for some reason she believed he was pretty harmless. Could the slayers he mentioned be in her head telling her this? Didn't matter eitherway.

He walked in, taking a small inhale of the scent within. Mal's place always smelt the same, old books and wooden bookshelves. It was something to hang on to considering how quickly things had gone down hill lately.
