I'll Never Be Yours

The crowd cheered at me, most were regulars at the Spot, some were new but the one person I wanted here the most was not here. but that was not a problem. I'll be preforming all night.

'He'll come,' I smiled taking the mic into my hand.

"Hey guys!" I yelled to the crowd through the mic, causing the group to cheer enthusiastically. I scanned the crowd until I found the set of eyes I loved the most.

'Rin...'

Even across the room we could feel each other, her own smile reached mine effortlessly.

'I'm doing this for you baby,'

"How is everyone tonight?" I yelled, my voice and body showing more energy than my mind seemed to.

"I want to thank you all for coming, wasn't sure if many people would show,"

I could tell my old groove was back. My body remembered the movements my mind wish they'd forget, but tonight would be different. Tonight everything well change.

"Are y'all ready?"

Cheers echoed back at me and background music filled my ears.

'Time to start the show...'

Tyler and I were at a table to ourselfs, cheering on Lisa. We loved her singing, but Tyler seemed a bit more obessed about it than me. Mabye he liked her? I doubted it

"Hey guys," Ricki said, walking up to them.

Tyler waved, grinning like an idiot. I shook my head at him. "And where have you been?"

"College of course, I decided I needed a break from all that studying," Ricki shrugged and sat down, taking a moment to realise Lisa was singing.

"It's been oddly quiet around here, after you left." Tyler nodded in agrement, his attention back on Lisa.

"I can see that," I replied looking at Tyler oddly. 'Why is he so weird?'

~Because he's a guy.~ I grinned at Ricki.

~True~ Ricki smiled.

~I'm still getting used to the fact that if I was born a guy, I would be him, but he is me... or am I him?~

~That sounds like loads of fun.~ I poked Tyler, but he paid no attention. His full atention was on Lisa and her singing, and I gave a smal frown.

~ I like her singing too, but I'm not obsessing over it.~ I looked around the club, most of the guys were the same way. "It must be cause she's gay."
