I laughed swatting at them playfully, "Now eat your pancakes."

"Are they low fat?"

"Abbigail, you don't need low fat," I said. "You're too skinny as is."

"But Laurie Errolson..."

"sn't here ansd isn't your parent," I said. "I am. Eat."

"Eat, or I'll put more syrup on them," I replied putting a plate in front of her.

"This is what you get when you do nothing but winge about childhood obesity."

"Aren't you guys supposed to be stuffing yourselves know so we can ship you all off?" I asked, recieving a chorus of groans. "I would think you guys would be excited."

"But it's school," Lionel complained. "What so exciting about that?"

"It's SCHOOL!" Aubrey said excitedly, wolfing down her pancakes.

Danielle didn't look up from her pancakes that remained untouched and seemed to migrate across the plate.

"Whats wrong?" I asked, face creasing in worry.

"I don't want to goto school, you wont be there," she mumbled before putting some pancake in her mouth.
