[glow=red,2,300]My Name is Joshua. To identify me in a crowd all you need to do is look for a caucasion male with blondish brown hair, blue eyes covered by thin wireframe glasses, and a guy that Time goes completely screwy around.

Yeah, that's right, Time goes screwy. Translation: I can control Time. Well, the flow of it anyway.

It all started when I found this strange amulet at my Grandfather's old place. Not much to it, it was gold colored, but I think it's not even a metal that can be found on Earth, with a blue jewel in the center of it. Back then having necklaces or amulets was the cool thing, and...I was strangely drawn to it.

It took me a while but I finally figured out what the amulet did. Especially when I drove my car over a cliff and then all of a sudden time reversed and I found myself back on the road again, just in time to stop myself.

Besides reverse time (for a maximum of one week I've discovered) I can slow time down so that I can avoid things, or I can accelerate my passage through it (so waiting in line isn't really that long), stop it for brief moments (a maximum of an entire hour from my POV), and sometimes, just sometimes, I can see into the past or the future.

Before you claim that my one weakness is taking my amulet away, allow me to correct you. The amulet only showed me how to use these powers. Now, I only need it for the power boost, and I can do these things on my own.

I am a Time Wizard.

I have been since I was fifteen. Now I'm 21, in college, Film college if you must know, and I have been aware of the supernatural in general since I turned sixteen and I had to defeat a Warlock and his vampire minions.

I'm in decent shape, getting most of my exercise from running away from demons and other evil things, but I also go to the gym.

So now, I'm here in this town which might as well be some kind of mystical convergence, trying to get an education I can live off of.

I don't have many friends, besides naive and unknowing classmates, but I certainly wouldn't mind making friends with someone else who knows about the supernatural, and could help back me up when warlocks come hunting for me and my power.

On a further note, Doc and I are best buds, despite being out of sorts recently, (Hey, I've GOT to get an education!), and while he's brute force and military tactics, I'm the sneaky magic-using SOB back-up that also is pretty good at researching the supernatural.

I'm no Watcher, or at least not a Watcher-level with the researching, but I'm pretty good at finding what we need in time.

Having a few other magic tricks that make research go even faster and easier certainly doesn't hurt either.

Also, I have a new power since I started hanging with Doc and all of his friends around here. I can create 'Time Bubbles', where time can flow or move in any fashion I desire inside of them. The outward effects are that nothing that isn't already inside can get in them, and if I seal a Time Bubble and then throw it at something, say a cement wall, then . . . Well remember that scene in X2 where Magneto escaped with those tiny iron balls? ;D

And I may not be a Slayer, but I *can* fight now, also thanks to Doc and his training.

Well, because of me and my stupid idea, which really was the only available option, I'm dead now.

Yep, deceased. One of us, the heroes of the city, the Super-Scoobies almost, had died.

You didn't really think that would be the end of it, did you?

After I finally passed on from my very much in-pain mortal coil, I found myself where all dead people find themselves, on the Ghost Roads. Until Ate, per agreement, kicked me off the Ghost Roads, and I made my way to what is known as the Cross Roads. Along the way . . . I, I ceased to be "myself". The soul that was Joshua still exists, but the soul that *IS* the reincarnation of Joshua, went on to the Crossroads, and found the path back to life, and a power that Joshua could only ever dream about before.

Her name is Avalon, and she is my bearer. She is a Champion of the Powers that Be, and I am her Soul Sword.

Since we basically are the same soul, like with Doc and his, I am fully powered, but unlike Doc, and totally because of what she went through on the Crossroads, we also have powers and can do things that can boggle even the unflappable Doc's mind.

My only worry is how Mai is going to react...

I have been trained as the perfect warrior. Do not let your misconceptions decieve you, as others have been called and dubbed themselves the "perfect warrior". I do not claim to *be* the perfect warrior, I merely admit that I have been trained to be such.

Every martial art and fighting technique that is available and connected to the Earth, whether in demon dimension, continent, culture, Angelic Realm, Netherworld, or single warrior, I have been trained in each and every single fighting style until I have beaten the very people that taught me.

This is possible through a manner of time manipulation where I experienced, as a Pure Soul, over 400 years in only 4 days.

I also contain within me the full potential of an active "Slayer", as well as the memories, knowledge, experience, and powers of my former incarnation Joshua, the Time Wizard.

Unlike my predecessor however, under the contract that makes me a Champion of the Powers That Be, I am immune to disruptions of Space/Time, so I will not die the way, nor will I be in danger of any such thing, as he did.

I have also been trained by the greatest military and tactical, philsophical, and purely logical human minds that have ever existed, whether history recorded them or not. The perfect warrior.

My weapons are partial to blades of all types and two magical weapons. One, and the first and foremost, is my Soul Sword, which contains the soul of my previous incarnation, Joshua. The second is a magical polearm, known as the Power Pole. Think "Monkey King" as Joshua would say.

Avalon is another character. I re-registered under the name Avalon because that's the ONLY way to change the "name" next to the posts, and people would get majorly confused if "Avalon" was the one speaking in first person, but "Joshua" was the name next to the post.

But thanks for thinking Avalon was a real girl.

Oh, and by the way, since it's not mentioned above, Avalon is Joshua's Astral form given a Real Body, IE the Slayer he's fighting in 'Late'.)))

Just a point. We are not stupid. It is quite easy to post avalon as Joshua. I've done it with rory and noone has said: "Oh dear, it says Jessy but at the top[s she's written 'rory's point of view'. Oh I'm so confused." Just a point.
