Ashley was sitting there with her forhead leaning against to cool window. They had left L.A. about an hour ago. The scenery had changed from huge city to the middle of the desert. All the sand was starting to make her dizzy, so Ashley closed her eyes. "You didn't have to come you know."

Ashley shrugged, suddenly feeling like Ricki was babysitting her. She opened the compartment door and looked out into the narrow hallway before deciding to go left.
