(takes place before the current threads)
The world shifted, pulling me with it with out mercy. My body shivered, suddenly, turning my body to ice. My hair spun around me, creating a thick curtain, unable to see through it until the ground began to quake. One word rang out clear to me.
"Annie...."
"Who's there?" I began to say, but nothing came out.
"Annie..." The voice this time was clear but eairy. Like something one might hear on a horror movie. I think the public's right about TV, makes your brain melt. If Amy was still alive I'd chide her for ever letting me watch the stupid thing.
"Annie..." the voice was definatly male but I couldn't move, my body frozen in place. The voice was distant but maybe they know what going on.
"Annie!" The voice was behind me and I was freed from my spell, the world around me now silent and still. I turned to see a man standing there, his tall form dwarfing mine. His eyes were black and his skin was grey. A shadow demon. Out of reflex I went into a defensive stance.
"Who are you!" I demanded.
He laughed, not fazed. "I'm Kila. A shadow demon but you see that already. I'm here to let you know how you can get your powers back."
I watched him skeptically but released my tense stance. "I'm listening."
I waited for him to continue but he only smiled. "It's rare for someone to survive a turn. Unlike vampirism, a turning into a demon has never happened. But the cosmos of our world must be in balance. You can't be both a vampire and a demon. You must choose."
I smiled bitterly. "I don't with to be a vampire."
"Good," he seemed happy about that. "Than I leave you with this. In order to unlock the darkness within you, you must face the light."
