The man still watched from the shadows. The demons in the immediate area were few now- some even tried to flee, but undead soldiers cut them down. He smiled, seeing the one called Torraan talking to the slayerettes. Perfect. They were all talking about some power of three thing... why did they not see that this wouldnt help Maya? closing portals, fighting the demons, even finding the shifters maybe... but it would not remove the power holding the girl. For that, we need this. He looked down at the smooth white stone in his hand, and nodded- She had moved away, fighting the remaining demons. He stepped quickly out of the shadows,
"Master Torraan." He called out, taking care to show respect- this wouldnt work if Torraan refused to help.
"Murray!?" Doc exclaimed in bewilderment.
((The guy who owns the magic shop for those hu have forgotten or never knew. MAya works for him and until now has thought that he didnt actually realise magic was real...))

"I have read about you, heard about you... and of what you can do." I said to Torraan. "I heard about a device copable of removing a possessing spirit or demon from a body, but thought it must be myth... until Maya bought this..." He held up the stone,"Into work one day. I dotn think she intended me to see it, she was looking lots of things up, seemed very busy, and she forgot to take it when she left."
Torraan's eyes narrowed in thought.
"Couldnt it save her?" I asked.
"Save who?" Said a furious voice, and suddenly i found myself with Maya's hand about my throat- except that it wasnt really Maya. Her hair was deep red, her eyes black, and viens crept out from her hairline.
"Put him down!" Doc yelled, but of course she didnt listen.
"Noone is stealing this body from me!" She snapped.
"Liberar-se." I choked, and she was forced away from me with a yelp while everyone gaped. tehn she laughed, a deep, terrifying laugh.
"Lil' pld Murray got some welly in him. how did i not sense that?"
"You are a warlock." Torraan said thoughtful.
"It makes no difference!" Maya cried angry. "None of you can equal my power- not one of you, and not all of you together. Cross me and die."
"We're getting Maya back." Doc said stonily, standing right before her. She grinned,
"Oh you would be the one, wouldnt you." She said. "Just because she's your sister? Or is there more there?"
He looked disgusted.
"Oh come on Doccy boy. Tell me than never once, not even before you knew, not even the first time you met her, you never thought about just slamming her against a wa..."
Now Doc's hand was about her neck, the laughing beast up against the wall.
"Knew it." She chuckled. He let go, bewildered but furious.
"Shut up. We will defeat you. We will get her back."
"Sure you will sweetie." She said sarcastically, grabbing him by the front of his torn shirt and kissing him forcebly before disappearing faster than any of us could follow...
((sorry, got a little carried away- anybody just say if you have a problem with any of it!))
