((theres meant to be portals all over anyway- remember the whole attacking all over the world thing? Theres gonna be portals in like every country, thats why the scoobies arent here helping us!!))
"Oh goddess, they're everywhere." I suddenly said, sitting up. Josh frowned, "What?" "The portal... they really are attacking everywhere at once... and everytime a portal is closed, another opens... have to fight..." I started to stand, but my legs were like jelly. "No, Mai, you're out of this one." "No!" I snapped. I forced myself to stand. "You nearly died, Mai..."
He thinks you're not strong enough
"I'll be fine. Millions of people will die if we dont sort this." "You're gonna die, Mai..."
he thinks you're weak
"no." "What?"
You're better than him. Show him you're stronger
"No im not. I wont." "Maya?"
Im stronger than you, little slayer. thats why you used me you told me to take what i like, and now i am.
"No! I'm in control!" Joshua looked very worried by now. "I summoned you... I...."
cold laughter filled my mind, [pathetic, arrogant creature. You have no power over me. For millenia i have slept, and now you have set me free...]
"No... no..." I murmured, my head held in my hands. "Mai?" Josh asked desperately.
*3rd person*
Suddenly Maya's head snapped up, and she grabbed Joshua by the throat, "Hey hunni." She said in a deep, cold voice. Even as he watched, blackness flooded Maya's eyes, and her hair, flickering in the breeze from the doorway, turned deep blood red. "Im home." She threw him across the room. "Lets have some fun."
She walked out of the dojo, and noone noticed, caught up in the renewed fight. SHe drew her sword, and plunged it into the nearest demon, twisting it violently and hurling the 20ft demon across the street. "Oh its good to be back." She said.

I attacked a demon from behind by jumping on his back. He reached up for me but with the swing of my sword his head fell to the ground only moments before his body. I walked off the remains and towards the next demon.

((haha yes Doc, you got it bang on!))
My eyes snapped open as the scream died abruptly on my lips. My lungs ached, finding work for the first time in millennia as I fought to get enough breath. I wasn't used to this. I felt dizzy, I needed more air.
"Manwë," I breathed. "Mana carëlyë carë?!"
Aralin looked down. "Haryan nyérë," she said, sounding hurt.
I would have responded right away if I hadn't been busy breathing. Manwë, how was I supposed to do anything if I didn't get enough air to do it? Vampires have no idea how easy they have it.
"Lá," I said finally, "úmëlyë raica." I paused. My breath was under control. I lifted my arm, feeling the blood flowing again. I was alive. And I felt it, I knew it. I could do whatever I could before, but now, I would feel it in a way I'd forgotten I could.
I opened my mouth to speak, but before I could even say the words, Aralin pointed to my hand. I still gripped the soul sabre in my hand. I had, in fact, been gripping it so hard that a small crack formed in the hilt. The savage plunge into the demon's armoured skin had caused a break in the blade as well. And seeping out of it, for the eye that really looked, was a whisper of silver vapour. I knew at once what had happened. But how? Soul sabres are not meant to be broken.
"Nás rácina mai haryas maurë ná rácina," she said quietly. And suddenly, I knew what she meant. The swords obey the weilder, and I was that weilder. In my final hour, I had heard my sisters voice, I had wished that I could have stayed with her, helped her. And the soul inside had been only too willing to obey. The sword broke, the soul came free, and the magic returned to she who gave it.
"Araslernya," I whispered, standing up. "Sí mahtalwë."
Side by side, bows in hand, arrows ready, we walked out of the Dojo. I breathed in the clean air, and I smiled. Watch out demons, because Aredhel Lindelena was back, and she was back with a vengeance. We fired our arrows.
One million, two thousand, seven hundred, ninety-seven...
((do I even have to label them anymore? Manwë: the name of the highest of the Valar, sort of like a play on when we say "Oh my God!" or "Christ!" Mana carëlyë carë?: What did you do? Harayn nyérë: I'm sorry (lit. I have sorrow) Lá, úmëlyë raica: No, you didn't do wrong. Nás rácina mai haryas maurë ná rácina: It is broken if it needs (lit. has need) to be broken. Sí mahtalwë: Now we fight.

"Ok... this is getting out of control." I said as I saw what was happening...
"Maya... you are not yourself, what has happened?" I asked, while helping Josh to his feet...
The undead army rose from where they fell, perfectly renewed again, and starte to fight more demons...

"Of coarse," I said to Jessy, slicing another demon 'down to size.' "I heal quickly. Plus I haven't the time to die right now with Amy coming in Tomarrow." I watched the demons come back to life. "They need to stay dead."

And once again, I was helpless. I couldn't even pick up a gun, much less fire it.
And then I saw maya doing feats not even Maya could do and i knew, I just knew that something had gone wrong, more wrong than if she had died. And me, unable to even get up, could do nothing about it.
"A hand if you please,' I mumbled under my breath.
'I'm trying. You took a hell of a lot of damage.'
"Just get me walking. I think Maya needs me."
'Astute observation, but somehow, I don't think she'll listen. But you can walk now.'
"Thankyou," I muttered, getting to my feet slowly, painfully. Hang in there, Maya. I'll help you. Somehow.

I made my way closer to Maya, stopping just outside her reach, though the way she was moving, it wouldn't stay that way too long if she changed direction. She was moving like she hadn't just been at the brink of death. that's what worried me.
"Maya?" I whispered. I'm not sure she heard me, but i wasn't going anywhere.
