I stepped outside the building Doc had me and the slayers staying at. I couln't sleep and needed some freash air. The night breeze played across my face, and I let a small smile form. Right now the city was almost quiet, and it seemed peaceful. I looked up and saw the half moon just shimering. My smile grew as I listened to the crickets chirp.

"Yes," was Rogue's reply, before punching Ashley in the face, sending her back and unknowingly alerted Ricki.

I fell to the ground by the force of Rogue's punch. "What were you like standing out here the whole time or something?"

"Not exactly," Rogue grinned, walking towards Ashley.
Ricki sleepily got up, a cold feeling in her stomach. She looked over to where her fellow slayers slept but found one bed empty. 'Where's Ashley?'

"Not really. Had a dream you'd be out here," Rogue replied walking to Ashley before pcking her up by the collar of her shirt.

This sucked. I couldn't do anything but dangle. I tried to pry her hands off, but she was extremly stronger.

Ricki grumbled as she wondered the halls looking for Ashley. 'She wouldn't be stupid enough to go outside would she?' Ricki thought standing in front of the door. Ricki opened it and saw Ashley dangleing in Rogue's grip. 'She would.' was Ricki's last thought before charging at Rogue to save her friend.
Rogue had sensed Ricki in enough time to get out of the way but had dropped Ashley in the process.

I gave a grateful smile to Ricki after Rogue dropped me, but I noticed that my ankle was in an odd postion. It started to hurt like hell.

Rogue growled in annoyance at Ricki before an idea formed in her head.
Ricki got into a fighting pose. She didn't care that Rogue was significantly stronger than her, she had to protect her friend by any means possible. "Ashley get inside."

Ricki sent a small glance to show she heard. One thing that was going to be a problem was Ricki couldn't tell if Rogue would be able to tell when they were inching towards the door. Ricki knew the only say to get her sidtracked enough was to fight her. Ricki sent a punch but only met air. 'Shit' Ricki replied mentally kicking herself as Rogue only stepped to the side.

I shook my head. I didn't know why Ricki thought she could fight and still make it out in one peice. ~We can still make a run for it~
