I appeared from my hideout, still human. Coward that I was I hadn't even attempted to change and had instead hid out nearby hoping they wouldn't notice I was gone. I walked over and grimaced as they talked about the car ride back.
"Should've just taken my car and drove behind," I said. "Remind me never to get in a car with either of those two ever again." I pointed at Kayley and Doc.
