*3rd person*
Another, groundshaking roar came from the hole, which then began to glow white.
A giant creature flew out of the hole and straight through the roof. It had an eagle-like head, but instead of feathers, were grey, hard scales. It's wings glowed with white light which left a trail in the sky as it flew. It had a long, dragon-like tail, also with the same grey scales and it's body somewhat represented a lion, again with no fur, but the same scales as everywhere else. It's paws were huge and from the tips of the four fingers on each extended large, pure black claws. It's eyes were pure white, and it's beak, jagged at the end.
"This is it! The bringer of destruction! The end of the world as you know it!" Everyone heard the snakey voice coming from nowhere.
THe creature flew high, then came down. It flew close to some high-rise buildings and knocked them over with just the wind it created when flying.
"Now... do what you do best!" Yelled the snakey voice again.

I fell to my knees, one hand on the ground for support. I knew that. Such a powerful presense, yet one so familiar. "Chimera."
