The Shadowdisk headed straight for the creature's face and... bounced off, inflicting no damage whatsoever.
I called it back. It had never simply bounced off a target before!
The creature let out a loud roar which, unless I was mistaken, sounded a little like a laugh.
Another large sweep of air threw me, Rogue and Doc away. It the flew up.
*3rd person*
The creature flew up really high. A dark portal opened above it.
"Now that they have had a taste of your power... destroy everything... leave their city for last!" a voice came from the portal commanding this.
The creature flew off...

Something like that's gotta have some power core," I mused. "Internal or external. If it's internal, we gotta find tat infintesimally small weak spot these things inevitably have."

"It's unisexed..." I said jumping down from my perch, "but it isn't meant to be that powerful... someone, or something, is powering it. Feeding it with enough power that it becomes basically invinsible."
"How do you know it's unisexed?" Jessy asked.
"Weren't you listening?" I said, "Oh well... I know of a legend, this creature lives for only two purposes, sleep and when woken, destroy. It doesn't need to eat, drink, breath, blink... hell, it doesn't need to take a piss! All it does is destroy... and somehow, someone has taken control of it."
"How could you possibly know this?" Doc asked.
"That, is none of your concern... I learn things..." I replied, "if it wasn't being controlled, it would have killed us... it was only playing around. We have to find it... and fast."
