"Uh, yeah, I'm really going to follow you into huge danger," I muttered.

I was getting impatient. I heard an impatient hiss from inside my sleeve. 'Do not worry Arnardo...' I thought, the hissing stopped.
"This could be a lot simpler than you are making it. But, if that is the way you want it to be, Jessy, than, so be it." I said.
"How did you know my name?" She asked.
"I will see you another time." I walked out.

I thought about it. He had a snake, or some kind of lizard up his sleeve. He wanted me to follow him. Well, he'd come back another time.

"What was that hissing sound?" I asked.

"A snake. I think it was an adder." I said, matter of factly.

"Snake?" I asked. "Adder? Isn't that something in school?"

I shifted quickly. "That's an adder."

When I got outside, Leaness was waiting.
"No such luck girl... maybe another time." I told her.
She growled in disappointment, but then came over and purred while rubbing herself against my leg.
I patted the lioness a little. "Where's Hellion."
Leaness told me that Scope called Hellion to deal with something up the street a second ago.
"Ok, let's go find out what's happening." I said.
Arnardo hissed a warning. He detected a bus roaring down the street.
"Quick, leaness!" I said, then we ran down the street.
Hellion, the bull, was not far away, looking at a bus headiong down the street. Scope, the eagle, flew above it.
As it came toward us, Leaness and I moved out of the way. This was a job only Hellion could perform. He was the strongest animal for his size I had ever seen.
The bus came down, it ran into Hellion, it dragged him down the road a little until he managed to stop it.
When it stopped, Scope screached and flew down to inspect the bus for any traps. Then told me it was safe.
I walked to the bus to find it totally empty.
"Arn't busses meant to have drivers?" I asked.
Scope screached, looking up the road.
"What do you see?" I asked.
I just saw who is was. She saw an old man, his cloak and white hair fluttered in the breeze. He held a walking stick.
"Arnardo, does he have anything to do with this?" I asked.
Arnardo, the cobra, said he caused it.
"Let's have a word with him then." I said.
Arnardo hissed another warning as we walked up.

I heard animals. Uncommon animals. "Be back in two ticks." I headed outside, shifting quickly to become a cat. Moving swiftly, I came upon a scene of some confusion.

I headed up to the man, Leaness at my side, Hellion behind and Scope flying above.
"I thought that that would get your attention." Said the old man.
"Who are you, and what do you want." I demanded.
"Now now... no need to get into a fight on our first meeting." He said.
"You sent a bus down a street, it could have caused damage." I told him.
"I know of the, abilities, you, friends, here possess." He replied, "that bull of yours easily stoped it."
Hellion gave an impatient snort.
I whacked him on the side hard. It wasn't punishment, more of a way to calm him down. I whacked him hard because if I hit him softly, he would not have felt it.
Arnardo hissed a warning of great danger.
"Your snake sences something... if he the one who told you that I caused this accident?" HE asked.
"How is it that you know so much?" I asked in return.
This was going nowhere.

I aprroached the lioness, speaking the cat tongue. "Sister, who is this man? Why does thou serve him?"

Leaness replied, "I don't serve him! I've been his friend for countless amounts of years! We are best of friends..."
Overhearing the conversation, but not wanting to reveal to the man that Jessy was a shapeshifter, I looked into the cat's eyes.
"So you decided to come after all..." My eyes said. (Complicated, I know)
"Your animal 'abilities' are useless agianst me." He said stepping forward in an aggressive way.
"... and I will protect him until I'm on my last leg." Leaness finished and stepped forward, growling.
"You'd better call off your cat, before she gets hurt." Said the man.
"I don't command her, she does what she wills." I replied, but warned her of the danger this man could be.

Quickly replying to the lioness that I wished her every happiness with her friends I also steped forwards. The man almost laughed at me. A small cat, defending alongside a lioness.
