I looked away from Killian, something weighing on my mind. It only took me a moment to figure it out.

"Doc?" the shifter whispered.
"I told you already, my daughter. I will always be there to chase away your nightmare. Always."

I opened my eyes gingerly, only to my sight to be flooded with light. I winced painfully, I had such a pounding in my head. I heard someone say something over me...Maya, and I sat up...my senses coming back to me. Except they were better than i had remembered. I opened my eyes, to see Maya's face, flooded with relief.
"Killian, I thought you were dead." She said, helping me up. I didn't answer, I wasn't looking at her face anymore...I was looking at her neck.
Fangs grew longer, and my eyes glinted yellow, and I lunged.

Finally Jessy seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Okay time for me to go help Mai, I thought. Quickly I cast a spell so that no dark energy could go within five metres of Jess. Finally I stepped through a portal in time to see Killian attack Maya.

He grabbed me by the shoulders, lunging for my throat. I screamed. I didn't ahve time to block, my senses werent ready to magickally defend me.... i could feel his breath on my throat, hear the yells from the others. I prepared for the sting of his fangs...
"OW! Jesus!" He cried, stumbling back with a hand to his fangs. I gaped, and the others froze in confusion. I touched my neck- it was unharmed. "What the hell kind of spell makes your skin solid!?" he raged, as if it were totally unfair. Some of the others grinned at this, but they didn't know what i knew- i had done no such spell. I glanced down ward, shook my head, and dropped into a fighting stance- i wouldn't be caught off guard again.
"Come with us, Killian." I said, iugnoring his question. "Let us help you."
"I do NOT need your help, slayer." He spat. With that, he grabbed the unconscious Rachelle and made for the exit. I started to run after him, but Doc grabbed me, stopped me,
"Can you really kill them, Mai?" He asked. I gaped. "Cos thats what it'll come down to if you follow them right now."
I looked up at him with tears coming to my still black eyes.
"No." I said in barely more than a whisper.

"Anyways, you guys got somewhere to be?" I asked, "Where ever Jessy is," Maya told me ((Where is that?)), Instantly we were there, I disappeared to leave then alone, Then I saw a figure running off holding something, I stood outside the door, no one was gegtting through here without permission.

I went straight to Jessy's side. She was slepping peacefully now. I storked her forehead gently.
"You never get a good nights sleep, do you?" I whispered. "It's always something," I leaned against teh wall and sat down. Maybe Charlotte wanted nothing to do with me, But Jessy...her I coudl help.

I climbed out onto the windowledge in koala form. "Someone let me in" I yelled, hoping they could hear me. Cause spending the night on a windowsill.......

I looked over at the yelling koala.
Yelling koala?
"That's either Pepper or Rory," I said, opening the window. "And if you're Rory, you'd better have a damn ggod excuse for peeking through Jessy's window. And don't even try 'I'm her boyfriend' because I will hurt you. If you're Rory."

I strolled into the room not looking quite myself. Looking more like Pepper actually. A lot like Pepper. Identical to Pepper. "Hello Doc, is Jessy alright? I'd just popped out for a minute." I looked around and noticed Pepper.

I woke up slowly, trying to get used to my surroundings. The strangest thing was the fact that there were two Pepper's in the room. "Pepper? Huh?" I was still sleepy and blearie-eyed but there were definately two Peppers.
