I held my hadn against the wound, feeling incredibly stupid- i'd gotten myself bitten!
"Jessy?" I said when she came back, "Erm... could you maybe... could you not tell my mum about this?"

I forced a laugh,

"And I'm straight. Completely straight." I said. I had a temptation to shake her by the shoulders but that wouldn't help her neck in it's current condition. She needed chocolate, and she needed it now.

I smiled. "Well, if that's the truth you wouldn't mind if I introduced him to a friend of Amy's?" She started ever so slightly. And I knew. Girls always know. "Aila." I said exasperatedly.

"Yeah right." I said, "Jess, he hasnt taken his eyes off you since the first time you met. He goes all gooey whenever you walk in." I sighed, "Nope, he is definitely very severely into you."
