Setting up shop

"Ok, I would be much encouraged if you said something," I said, uneasy now.

[Jack]

"Umm...." I said. Did she really dislike me that much? Oh well... Since she had been honest and told me... "Yes.... I do.... I guess it means alot now." I really badly wanted to run away.

[Jessy Jackson]

"Yeah, cos I'm kinda gay and you are straight. That major problem." i said simply, and slowly, trying to process what he had been thinking.

I knew Jessy was going to patrol tonight, and i knew that she hated patrolling the warehouses alone, so i'd set out to join her, and seen Jack just ahead of me. I was gonna call out... until I heard him call her name... I hung back, just round the corner, and heard everything they'd said.
So he was into her.
I should have known.
I turned round and started walking quickly in the opposite direction.

A familiar scent caught my nose. Crap. Crap crap crap crap craporama. "Jack, I have to go." but I couldn't go. Hell, she was going to hate me. But I had to go. I made up my mind. I went.

[orestes]

*a few moments earlier* ;D

I heard footsteps around the side of the warehouse, and swiftly moved to see who else was there- ah, another teenager- this one looked distressed, out of place... i grinned- she looked, in a word, like dinner. I dropped silently behind her, grabbed her, and slammed her against the wall.
"Good evening." I said, putting my game face on, and though she didnt look as terrified as i expected, she still didnt have time to react before i sunk my teeth into the smooth skin of her throat, and began to drink her blood...

I turned the corner. Crap, Mai was gonna kill me. Then I saw her. I'm no sure which of the billions of thoughts told me to attack, but it worked. I leapt forwards, black fur still rippling from the shift, only to be knocked back,winded from a whack from this vamp's free arm. Whoever it was, he was strong.

[orestes]

I growled, dropping my dinner and turning to see the panther, already up and snarling. Damn it, a bloody shapeshifter.
"Get the hell away from her!" The shifter snapped.
Oh crap, big mistake- perhaps the random girl wasnt random after all- these good guy people knew her. So much for the element of surprise.
Oh well.
"Down pussy cat." I teased.

I growled. He still had Aila in a life or death position and I's have to be careful. One flick of his wrist and- But I couldn't think about that.

[orestes]

I smiled- she knew that i could kill the other girl in a second. She didnt dare even move.
"Good kitty."

[vala]

Ow... Damn that hurt... my mind was a blur, and my vision wasnt much better, but could hear growling, and voice,
"Good kitty" Someone said...
The vampire! Oh goddess... suddenly what had happened finally made sense- he'd bitten me, dropped me, and now Jessy was confronting him- only he was using my position over her. Not for long. i pulled my slef together as much as possible, and Swung a leg at his, knocking him down.

I was at her side in a flash. Well, more of a blur actually. "You ok? Get out of here." I said.

I shook my head vaguely, though stopped fast because it hurt,
"No..." I murmured, "Cant leave you... hes strong..." I'd felt his mind when he bit me, and though i couldnt see specifics, i knew that he was old, and purely evil.

"Then we both get the hell out of here." I growled. She was not in a fit state to be standing, let alone fighting. "Grab on."

I was in no state to fight, so i did as i was told and held on tight as she transformed and took flight.
