"Maya!" He called in frustration, "Please would you tell me what happened?"
"We fought, you cheated, repeatedly, I won, you DISAPPEARED!" I yelled.
"We fought? Why?"
"Because i felt like beating your face in." I said said sweetly.

'Joshua the damage is done, no sucking up will help you' I said grimly, understanding in my own girl way why Mai was upset 'You gotta understand that you are one arrogant guy what with all the "I'm actually ten times more powerful than that thing beating up Maya" when we actually know she'd beat you into a total pulp so just cool it okay? You can't do everything'

((and you keep joining threads which are all on different time lines! Can i suggest you stick to the most recent ones? Cos this is before battle royale, guarding tucker, hiding away, armour, all that.))

((Because i was one of the first people on this site, so my character is around in all the different stages! I'm pretty sure none of us have met you in any threads before this one! All i'm saying is it makes no sense for you to be here. Oh well. A little late now.))

I walked out of the room with Maya still yelling at the animated demon skeletor wannabe, Doc right beside me.
"So, kitchen huh?" he asked.
"Yep, this way," I turned a corner and led the way to the kitchen and free snacks.

I turned to see that Joshua and Doc had walked off. The nerve! I considered the situation- i could run after them and yell at Joshua for being so irritating all the time, the down side being that it would make me look stupid running after them, OR, i could storm off... to vey little effect seeing as the guy i was mad at wasn't in the room anymore. I settled for letting our an angry sigh and heading to one of the gyms to pummel something that couldn't die and therefore wouldn't count as murder if it happened to get destroyed. Hey, maybe i could draw Joshua's face on it...

If I had to guess my doppleganger just wanted to knock her down a peg or two. And if it did come to an all or nothing drag out fight, major magic mojo or not, you and I both know..."
"That she'd kick your butt and break your face while at it," Doc interrupted and finished for me.
I deflated as I was forced to agree with him. "But I'd make it difficult," I put in pitifully.
"Y'know, I half wonder what it would be like to have Slayer powers, so that much of our skills would be evened out," I mused to him and myself.
