I took down a heavy tome and began to pore over the ancient text. It was simply facinating, all the information a translation or two away. I took out my secret spectacles and settled myself into a comfortable position.
I puzzled over the new nick-name I had recently aquired. Jessy Giles. I didn't see the joke but Nicki found it funny.
The Library was amazing. A huge circular room with several levels. Large windows let shafts of light illuminate the room, showing dust rising and falling. The musty smell of books filled the air as much as the room was full of books. The atmosphere was calming, peaceful. Mahogany bookshelves lined the walls holding books with all the information anyone could ever require. Sections about apocalypses, hellmouths, and any demon in existance.
I spent nearly all my weekends in here, unless I was fighting or out with the gang or Rory. I didn't have too much of a social life.
I looked around cautiously. No demon could get in here but all the same, they would love to get the information within these walls. Seeing nothing I relaxed and began to translate the Sumerian in front of me.

Ah, the weekend. I had about an hour before my shift at the magic shop, so i headed to the training centre. and reached out mentally to see who was about.
I made my way to the library, feeling jessy's presence, and when i entered, she was sitting absorbed in some ancient tome. I grinned, and making myself invisible, i crept up behind her silently, and grabbed her, crying,
"BOO!"

Instictivley I grabbed the book-keeping my thumb on my page so I wouldn't lose it- and wacked poor Mai over the head with it.
"Oops," I said sheepishly when I realised who it was. I quickly put the book back onto the table and waited for Mai to reveal herself.

I walked into the library, my skin tingling as I did. It didn't hurt that much, but as soon as i had passed the wards, the tingling stopped. "Hey guys."

"What do I have to do to get a little peace and quiet?" I asked exsastperatedly. "I am trying to translate an ancient text on apoc- er, a pocket full of rye." I covered badly.

"Ow." I commented, becoming visible again, with a scowl. Rachelle barely smothered the smirk, and Jessy grinned innocently. I shrugged, "Ok, so maybe i was asking for it." I admitted. "Now whats this about apocalypses? I thought we put a ban on those?"

"Well well well, what do we have here? Looking up banned info ay?" I asked as I walked in.
I looked down at the book that Jessy was reading, then grabbed another... information on different demons sounded cool, plus, I had plans with the one that had the names of demons that started with 'C'.

"Hello everyone, Jessy." I smiled and pulled up a chair. "What you doing?"
"I'm translating the Sumerian, then I'm going to check it by translating the Latin." She looked up. "The Sumerian was translated from the Latin and if it was translated badly, whole passages could be wrong."
"Ow! My head hurts. Kiss it better?"
She smiled and agreed.

'Ahhh, here we go,' I thought as I pulled out the book containing all demons starting with the letter 'C'.
I opened it up, 'Perfect!' I thought, 'One page dedicated to each demon, that'll make things much easier!'
When I got to a certain page, I, as silently as possible (if it is possible to) tore out one of the pages and quickly shoved it in my pocket. I then put the book back.
"That was quick!" Maya exclaimed as I put the book away.
"Didn't find what I was looking for, oh well, see ya's all later." I said as I walked out without arousing any suspicion.

"That was quick. Too quick. Is it me or was that vaguley suspicious?" I said after Cevil had left.
"It was a little odd, if you get my drift," replied Mai.
"I think I'll check which book he was looking at."
