"It was hard enough for me without someone to talk to," I said gently. "Ai's going to need someone to complain to when things go south, and since you'll be the closest to her age... besides," I added with a small smile. "I think surrogate family should be included in that, don't you Pendragon?"
"Perhaps my choice of words was kind of poor," Avalon conceded.
