"Just a little," I agreed. "Mai," I called, "We settled on 9.85!"

"It was an eight," I repeated. they looked at me incredulously. "Given her parents, I expected more distance and range. Trust me, eight."

"Yeah." I said. "Then add on a .85 to the end of it."

I rolled my eyes.
"Have you ever seen a Slayer with projectile vomit?" I asked. "I have. Ran into a five year old just after Willow unblocked the seal. Shiela upchucked five feet. Ai mother's a Slayer, so even if she doesn't have the strength..."

I looked at Doc, running though my mind were pictures of a baby vomiting projectiles at vamps. I started to laugh. That would be interesting.

I grinned. The mood was a lot lighter than it had been five minutes ago. That was good. things could get back to...
Okay, maybe not normal, but close enough for me.

"You would," I smirked. "I'd say Aila will be better than all of us and we will be forced into early retirement. Except for me. She ain't a shifter." I grinned.

"Excuse me?" I said, in a mock angry voice, "She ain't no shifter QUEEN either. Then again maybe Jessy COULD do a better projectile vomit than me..hmmm.."

"She'd have to learn first," I reminded them. "And I think there's enough of a range of skills here to make things interesting," I looked over at Avalon, who nodded.
"I do believe, however, that her training should be kept in the family," she suggested. "And by that, I mean the four of us."
"She's not even telve months old, Pendragon," I noted.
"It's never to early to start training," Avlon said matter of factly.

"It's Doc's nickname for me," Avalon admitted grudgingly. I shrugged.
"Well, she's named after the same island King Arthur's apparently sleeping on and his last name was Pendragon," I explained. "I thought it was fitting."
