Something was very wrong here- we were all attacking Cervil, the guy who saved my life, but it wasnt him fighting back- it was something in him, and we were risking killing him!
"STOP!" I yelled in an incredibly loud voice, so loud that even with the hundreds of joshs, and the fight going on, everyone did stop, even Doc's master wong, and looked at me. "This is NOT the way to do this."
I knew from his worried look that Joshua could feel my magicks flowing. the shadow men parted as i walked towards Cervil, slowly, with frightening calm. "I dont know who you are, but you are within my ally. Minutes ago i would have killed him for harming Joshua, but now i know he wasn't truely behind it. Whatever you are, i warn you to get out, now, or you will feel MY wrath." Confusion flickered over Joshuas face. "The power you felt before wasnt close to all i have, and i dont have to harm cervil to get at you. You are a coward, hiding in a human body- leave him, and face us."

(((Maya, the demon dude already left Cervil's body (read the last page... 2nd half) and is now hovering above him, I'm sucking up dark energy from him as we speak...)))
I stood there, sucking away the power of the demon. He turned around, noticing that his power was being sucked away from him... he threw a fireball at me...
"Too late! I've already sucked up enough to make that attack do absolutely no damage against me!" I warned him.
[glow=red,2,300]That IS only one of my weaker attacks!![/glow] He growled at me...
"Ok then! Lets see how your strength fairs against..." Garrok smashed through a wall and turneed to him, "this!" I finished...
"TORTURE!!" Garrok roared, and stamped over to the demon.
[glow=red,2,300]Let us see then![/glow] The demon said...
He threw a lava ball at Garrok, which hit him and did absolutely NO damage to him whatsoever...
"It's going to take more than that to take Garrok out!!" I threatened him...
"DOOM!" Garrok roared, and swung his arm around, hitting the demon...

[glow=red,2,300]ha ha ha, I have to say that that attack was something that I WOULD ahve been scared of, if only it had hurt me![/glow] The demon growled at Zeroc and Garrok.
[glow=red,2,300]Just like that giant statue you've got there, it will take more than that to take ME down!![/glow] I warned everyone there.
It then hurled lava balls all over the place, setting the room on fire, raising the temperature to an extreme level, and desintegrating everything it touched.
[glow=red,2,300]Let's see how long you can handle this![/glow] It laughed.
At that moment, I woke up, most probably because of the heat. I couldn't stand it, I had to get out of there! Call it cowardness, I didn't care, I felt myself starting to melt under the intence heat. I jumped out of the building to the cooler outside.

And now i was angry. I Raised my arms, and murmured words no one else could hear, and a wave of intense cold swept out from me. Though it didn't harm my friends, it extinguished the fire, and froze solid items like, for instance, walls, that were about to collapse.
"I told you not to get me cranky." I snapped at the demon. He roared, and sent another lava ball towards me. I raised one hand, sending up a shield that shot the ball straight back at him- the first thing to truly hurt him, as he couldnt dodge fast enough in his shock. "I feel a little better." I said, extending the shield to protect my friends.

"Good shot, Mai," I said. And then my voice changed. "But now, it's my turn, mes amis. An' i guarentee dis gon' hurt," I raised my Sabre, white lightening crackling down it's blade. "Let's see you blocka beam of pure Soul Energ, homme!" As i said that, the white lightening shot forth, piearcing the demon's protection. It let out a scream of pure agony. "heh, look's like dat hurt it."
((For those paying attention to the various music based threads, this is one of those time 'One Step Closer' would be playing.))

"Nice." I grinned. Then i rolled my eyes, "Demon dude- how many times have i told you to let go of our pal?" While he was doubled over from Doc's shot, i reach out with energy rather than flesh, and dragged Cervil from his grasp and back behind the barrier. "ANd there goes your battery." I told the demon.

(((I'm quite sure I mentioned this earlier, he lookes like a big man-ish-shaped fire thing floating in the air)))
It floated down slowly, but didn't touch the floor, it didn't need to, it was hot enough to melt the floor while it was near it anyway!
[glow=red,2,300]Prepare to meet your ends![/glow] It growled at everyone as it started to transform into a beast-shaped fireball thingy. (((You know, 4 legs, big claws, muscular, lots of big, razor-sharp teeth; all that, but made of VERY hot lava stuff)))

"Duck," With that I released everything I had built up, every little scrap of power from everything I was. One minute only.
One minute was all I needed as the thing crumpled onto the ground from the intense Soul Beam.
"How?"
"Mess with a warrior of Raiden/Chi Wizard/Soul Wielder/ demon ass whupper, you've got yo ecpect that sort of thing," I said with a small smile. "Sucker."

"And again, nice." I said. I formed a powerfull magickal shield right around the remains of the demon- i wasn't dumb enough to presume that was the end of that. "We need to find Cervil." I said, "He's gonna need some help, and we need to find some way of permanently putting this dude outta bussiness."

"Why me?" The Necrmancer complained.
"You'r handy, your here and it could probably use your dark magic as a battery," I listed. He thought about it and went looking for Cervil. I turned back to the demon.

While Mactar left to find Cervil, I decided to try the dark energy removal again. But seeing as it was from further away, it would be a lot harder to perform...
"Maya," I turned to her, '' Would you be able to get us closer to the demon without weakening or breaking the shield in any way?"

"Just shrink the shield." I said, and the bubble around the demon shrunk, actually strengthening as the same amount of power went into a smaller area. "Go ahead."
