"Slayer Wicca, demon ass kicker." I quipped, still frowning. "And Jessy's friend. It better bloody well not be permanently."
Several people glanced at me, and i even paused myself- somehow, even though i'd been living here for years, and my accent was almost completely american, that had come out incredibly english. "What?" I snapped at the new girl.

"Time passes differently in our dimension. So even if she was with us for a year, I don't think any more than a month would have passed here. Don't worry about her. She'll be fine." I said quietly, I didn't want to attract any more attention. "It was an urgent message so please can we go as soon as possible."

As Maya started to say something, Jessy interupted her " Maya why dont you let me decide what I'm doing, okay?" I looked at them exasperatedly. Why was everything so confusing when humans were around?

I turned around to the rest of the group.
"Ok, now I'm REALLY confused... So, you are Jessy's younger sister? But your a blob of goo? Not being offencive or anything." I asked, "And now your asking Jessy to go to another dimension to receive a message?"
Pepper was about to reply, but I asked a very logical question, "Why couldn't you just deliver the message?"
I was getting stares from the rest of the group, but I wanted info, and I was going to get it.

"Im not exactly her sister , just a very good friend and well... first of all my dad said the letter was personel and getting involved with peoples lives wasn't a good thing and also... cause theirs no physical form in my dimension id have to remember the whole thing." "She usually just shows when she's needed," I said. My voice was completely neutral. "And one more thing... Pepper, was it? Jessy's a part of the only family I have. We may be a little twisted at times, a touch broken, but we're still family. So know this," my voice became low, smooth as honey. "Anyt'ing happens to de petite one," my accent went from Aussie to Cajun in about a second flat, "an' I'l be cmoin' after you. Don' matter where you are, where you hide, I'll find you. You don' want me to find you," with that I got to my feet. Before leaving, I gave Jessy a quick hug. "Do what you have to do," I said gently. "But come back soon," with that I left.
And here I'd gone out to relax.

"I still don't trust this much! Look, if you're taking Jessy to some 'dimension' than someone should go with her, to make sure nothing goes wrong." I suggested.
"Like who?" asked Mai.
"I'd say you'd be the best to go!" I said.
Mai looked back in shock, "Me?"
"Yeah..." I faded away, finished my drink, then left, walking in the same direction as Doc. (but not heading to the same place)

"Sorry Pep, but it has been a rough night. Mai, please don't come. The guys need you." I hugged the Slayer who was in my opinion the best ever and turned to Pepper. "Ate will be along soon. That is if she hasn't ended up in shrimp world."
