"Yes you can Charlie, it'll all be over soon just breath," maya soothed.
"No, I mean this whole thing, not just the birth, the baby thing and then the kid thing. C'mon Doc's freaking out and he doesn't even have to get it out of him. How were you not flipping out when Aila was born?"

"Of course i was, you saw that i was." I said calmly, a wry smile coming to my lips, "But believe me, its worth it when you gotta a baby in your arms... and the other stuff, its not that hard, you'll manage."
"You didnt exactly have to deal for all that long though did you!?" Charlie cried as another contraction started. A silence fell upon the car. "I... Im sorry..." SHe gasped, "I didnt mean..."
"I know." I cut her off, smoothing her hair back off her face, "Dont worry about it, you just concentrate on getting that baby into this world."

"I...don't...want...it...to...come." I gasped. "I mean i want this to stop but I don't want it to come Maya. I'm not just freaking out although I'm doing quite a bit of that. i really don't want it."
"You'll feel differently soon." Maya promised soothingly.
"I don't think I will." I wailed. "I tried to make myself want it but I can't. I just didn't know what to do, i didn't know where to turn when i found out and suddenly this is happening and I still don't want a baby."

"Charlotte," I snapped. Her wailing stopped. "Take. It. Easy. Everything will be alright, you understand me? Everything will be fine. Let's get this kid out into the world. THEN you can make you're decisions, okay?" I pulled up to the hospital (ambulence entrance) with an amused look from some of the ambos.
"What is it this time?" One of them said. I did this a lot.
"Woman in labor, get her a wheelchair and a doctor before I break arms!" I snapped.

I jumped down from the roofs and landed just outside of the ambulance entrence.

I was too shell-shocked and in too much pain to be embarassed as we raced through to the maternity ward. Everything seemed to move with lightening speed as I was put in a hospital gown, given a bed and strapped to several monitors. I wanted desperately for it all to stop or at least slow down to real world speed but the contractions kept coming and i grew more and more tired.

"Doc." I said quietly, pulling him to one side as the midwife spoke to Charlie, "Its happening way quicker than its meant to."
"But yours..."
"My pregnancy took a couple of months, Doc. It was mystical, thats different. This... i think its been enduced by stress..." I bit my lip, "Goddess i hope its ok."
"It will be." He said, though his voice wavered.
"I'm getting Will here anyway." I decided. "You go be with Charlie."

"Hey Charlie," I acknowledged Doc's presence with a slight head movement. "How are you doing?"
"How exactly does it look like I'm doing?" I snapped.
"Do you want him in here?" The midwife asked me. I paused.
"Yeah he has every right to stay." I replied.
"Are you the father?" She asked turning to Doc.
"Yes." He replied shortly.
"I see." She went to the doorway and called someone ele into the room. "Excuse me a moment i just have to do something.
I found it slightly wierd that she was leaving in the middle of a birth but I supposed it was most unlikely for a baby to be born after less than an hour of labour, besides she was back very quickly.
"Sorry about that." She said on re-enterring the room, her breathing slightly fast as if she had been hurrying. "Alright, lets concentrate on this baby then shall we?" I didn't answer as another contraction made me clench my teeth in pain and I squeezed Doc's hand as hard as I could.

The scoobies had arrived shortly after us, and i filled them in on the scary speed of Charlies labour.
"Willow... will you take care of her?"
"Of course, bumb ass." She replied, "But you could do as much for her as me if you'd relax about it."
I shook my head,
"No, will... i dont have the control you do, or even half the power. Please..."
She shook her head, but sighed and said,
"Of course i'll help her."
