She didn't like the idea of meeting up but from what Matt said it sounded important. After much debating she agreed to travel through the sewers to meet up at this club. Doubtful that the sewer entrance would be open she decided to go but found it open.
Standing in the center of the room she looked around, it was almost creepy to see a club empty and so quiet.
Besides having some bruises, burns and cuts; she was fine. No sight of Raven yet but she could tell there was some interest building.
The sun was high in the sky and much of her was wishing she was asleep and not here while the other part of her couldn't wait to see him.
She repressed that last feeling, waiting for Doc.

He slipped in the back way. Yeah, sure this place had no real connection to him, at all, but he didn't want to risk anyone seeing him, just in case. Raven was paranoid, psychotically so, if he thought Rogue was a threat, he'd have her followed and with only Coal's message to go on, he didn't really know. He wished there was some way to get him in, but he couldn't risk blowing her cover.
And so here he was, in a club he'd never been to, which was shut, going to a meeting organised by a guy he'd never met through his girlfriend to meet the vampire he possibly loved, or at least want to to have raging hot monkey sex with.
Yeah, his life wasn't complicated at all.

She turned when she smelled him enter. "You needed to see me?" Wanted...? She shrugged the thought focusing more on him than her own thoughts, possibly sounding colder than she meant to.

"Call it a check in," he said evenly. "Well, that and an info swap," he went all business as he sat next to her. "Word on the street is that Raven's increasing his recruitment lately. Same as usual, the lost and damned, homeless kids, but he's definitely looking for experienced fighters too," Doc looked her over quickly before looking her in the eyes. "I don't think this is all about me. He's gearing up for something. I just don't know what. You heard anything?"

"Nothing, all of what I've been hearing about is the payout and the ones who look like they know something aren't talking to the competition," she replied, taking a seat and crossing her legs before wincing, uncrossing them. "Demon who could turn his body into a torch. Hard to kill," she explained. "Caught me good along the thigh. One thing I can say though is he's offering a lot for this. Even providing 'blood banks' to the vampires. Very weird and the whole thing just screams more. Something organized."

The blood banks wasn't so surprising. He probably wanted to make sure the possible recruits were healthy. "Are they free?" Doc asked. It might have seemed like a strange question, but if he was giving it away, then things were definitely running into bad things territory. Raven hadn't done a recruitment drive like this since Doc had known him, and the fact he was trying to pull Doc back in... Things weren't right. They weren't normal. Raven was planning something. Doc just wished he knew what.

"They're free, and of course the over eager vampires were all too happy about that, hell half of them are probably junkies. They were happy about the thought of being bitten." She hadn't enjoyed all the carnage of the vampires who did so and she enjoyed killing them.
"Is that all you've heard? Any ideas? And what does he look like? I don't want to try and get close to the wrong person."

Of course, people that didn't matter, that no one would miss. Typical Raven.
"Tall," Doc told her. "Dark haired, blue eyes, Caucasian... Cold. Brutal. You'll never get any emotion out of him, he's... well, he's the perfect dictator," Doc suppressed a slight shiver. If he never saw Raven agin it would be too soon and yet it looked like he would have no choice int he matter.

"No emotion what so ever?" she asked curiously. She didn't like the sound of that and had had some hope that Doc was over exaggerating. The idea of not being able to play with emotions was not something she was used to. Using a purely mental approach seemed less reliable. She had enough confidence that she could pull it off but it wasn't in her comfort zone.

"Not that I've ever seen," Doc confirmed. "He might have some other way of letting them out, but..." he shook his head, thinking of all the times someone had failed Raven. "Even when he's shooting someone through the forehead for failing him, he was just so... calm. Never enjoyed it but never regretted it. I could never understand that."

"Thats business, a chore. Like taking out the trash and in a way thats probably what he thinks of that whole ordeal. He's human, he has emotions, desires, dreams..." she almost grinned at the last one. To find out that dream and shattering it before killing him would be icing on the cake. She'd settle for a quick kill but the idea of trying to break him was appealing in many respects. He hurt someone close to her in ways she would probably never know and the idea of him taking another breath... She wanted to hurt him.

"Good luck finding them out," Doc said, shaking his head. "The guy is... paranoid. Like no one I've ever seen or met. No one was ever allowed into his office or quarters, all meeting took place in the briefing room. All of his files are kept on his personal computer, a closed system, and I have no idea how much encryptino he has. He has a side arm on him at all times and I've never seen him eat with anyone else. He's like... a machine."

"I doubt he's a machine," she replied, but she knew what he meant. The man hid everything that made him human. THAT she could understand. She burned everything connected to her when she became a vampire. It was a weakness so it had to forcibly be carved out like a tumor. "I can understand it in a way. Not wanting to seem human. Makes you seem untouchable, like what you do matters and ife is only a game and you're in control."

"That sounds like him," Doc confirmed. "Which makes this mass recruitment that much more unnerving."

"Well, at this stage it's hard to know what his plan is. Seems massive but it's too out in the open. You mentioned he had wealth and lots of it, what does he use it on? All you would know is on supplies right?"
