"I killed my sire, just after I was turned," she said, offering a part of herself. He had shared a lot and she felt compelled to share something with him.

A surprised eyebrow raised. "I didn't think that was possible. Don't childer go into a state of shock or something if their sire is killed so soon after turning? It's part of the old myth about killing the creator to kill the creations. That's what I've read."

"No, I hated him with a passion. Even before I was turned. He stalked me and my lover at the time. One night on a hunt he found me. You can guess who won that battle. After he turned me he wanted to try and force me to kill my watcher. Instead my vampire side wanted to kill him. If my vampire side had been meek I would have done so, instead, he made a vampire who didn't like hearing orders. So I killed him then burned the town my watcher and I had been staying out. Left her alive but no one else lived,"
