"Safety in numbers," he told her simply. "You had plenty of chances to kill me. you didn't. Earns a level of trust. You seem more stable than most I hang around, you can look after yourself... Yeah, I'm pretty sure I want to offer. You want to accept?"

She thought about it for a moment before deciding. "Sure, I'll accept. Safer than staying out here."

"Excellent," he said. "You need to grab anything, or are you right?" I never really saw what she had aside from the sleeping bag.

"I do need to grab my bag, it just has a spare change of clothes and my cloak," she replied. "My sword as well." She motioned him to follow her. There was plenty of time until the sun was to rise so she wasn't too worried on time.

"My new 'pmployer' for one," he said wit a grin. "I don't think she likes me too much. there's that Slayer I met who seems a little less like the drones I'm used to the Council letting out. then there's that weird kid that seems to think he's the only one to hide things."

"If she doesn't like you then why did she offer you this job?" she asked confused. "Seems an odd thing to do for someone you don't like." She should really stop trying to figure out people. They only ended up confusing her. Maybe it was because she was a vampire now and the little things escaped her.

"Because I have bad work ethics and don't seem to mind not doing what I'm paid to do," he said with a smart grin. "Basically, the girl, Jessy, doesn't want a body guard, but her mum, her cares more for the bottle than her daughter, thinks she's a trouble maker. So, I get a job, do the minimum required to keep mummy dear off her back and get paid well for it. Good deal."

"Odd arrangement but as long as it works I guess," she said unsure. When they arrived at the crypt she just popped in to grab her few things and came back out with her bag in hand. While she could have just left them there she was somewhat sentimental about her things even if they were only a few items. "I'm ready," she said with a even look. It had been a while since she was last in an apartment. It had been a while since she had been in a residential place of any kind.

"Well then we're off," he said, pushing himself off the wall he'd been leaning on. "Oh, um... I don't have any furniture yet. I'll do some shopping tomorrow."

"Thats okay, it'll be more comfortable then sleep on a coffin," she replied with indifference. It didn't bother her in the least sleeping on the floor.
