"She would do much worse if I let her." While there were times she could take over with almost total control but the power flipping went both ways as long as the other wanted control enough. "I wouldn't let her though."

"She'd go through Maya first, try and kill her before she could use magic, by surprise since a direct attack would be too unpredictable." Not sure exactly why I was saying this since it certainly wasn't going to improve whatever relationship we had but he needed to know how serious it could be. "Than she'd leave her body for you to find and let you come after her. Or she'd pretend to be me, restrain you and take you to her body. Of course with things how they are right now she probably wouldn't get very far. Right now she'd just try and kill you to piss me off."
He hadn't taken her seriously when I had mentioned it almost a year ago and I wanted to make sure he understood that this wasn't something minor. What lurked beneath was evil. Enjoyed pain. Choosing each battle carefully.

"Good to hear. I don't plan on giving her the chance. Though I suppose that goes without saying." Good to know that if I ever lost control that Doc would try and end me before I caused any harm. Besides she'd been loose recently. Did Doc realise thats who he last spoke to before I skipped town? No need to bring that up if he didn't and if he figured it out than oh well.

"Good to know you haven't changed your stance from... almost a year ago. Seems like it hasn't been that long since we met." Being a vampire though time was never what it seemed dispite the fact that it never changed.
"So you would be willing to kill me if she were to take over?" Seemed repetitive but I was curious to see if he'd actually be able to say it. Yes we weren't on the best of terms right now but being able to kill someone was still different... Not sure how to say it but it was there.

Yes, i would," he knew how she felt. After everything that had happened, though, it was awkward to think they could be like that. Besides, he had to protect his family. He hadn't come this far to let that be taken from him by anyone.

I nodded, not sure what to say at that point. Granted that it was fair she still didn't like the idea of being killed for the actions of another but it was unavoidable in a case like hers. Damn the powers that be.

"No, she's not. Sure, I've done things since becoming a vampire that I'm not proud of but she... takes things to another level which with as far as I'm willing to go is pretty deep." He knew by now better than most (while being being alive that is) how far she was willing to go. "But the things I've done were either to get to someone who was bad or to someone who truly deserved it. She doesn't need a reason. She'd cut you open just to watch you bleed out and she'd discard the remains once she's finished in a way that slayers typically wouldn't think the attack was vampire in origin."
"The problem with becoming a vampire. Any strengths or weaknesses get twisted once the vampire gets inside of you. Like a disease." It was a disease in a way. Took over your whole body and left nothing inside. "I'm not defending anything I've done since I've done some very wrong things in my past, she's just different..."
