"I didn't say you realise it. I'm throwing ideas out, verbalising theories so we can figure somethingo ut. It's how we've always worked, remember?"

I glared silently, watching the ones I could see and sensing those I couldn't. If anything I would leave right now but I didn't dare. Not unless I could take Abigail, the rest of the kids sleeping away at the hotel with Ebony. Call me insane if you would like but I don't care for a bunch of men with guns in the room with my Abigail. I know Doc would agree, but right now I couldn't very well try anything to get her out. What I wanted to do was try and mist all of us out, but I could only mist myself. Misting others was far beyond my capabilities. Doubt it could even be done.

"We need to gather them." I said, "The slayers whose watchers have been taken... we cant protect them when theyre spread out like this. We can call the scoobies, get their help..." [Relax, rogue] i sent out mentally to her, i could see her agitation, and understood it, but if she panicked this could all go very wrong. [Theyre not gonna hurt anyone, just sit it out. Please!]

"That's half a million girls you're talking about, girls protecting some of the most dangerous parts of the world. They'll be in more danger travelling than where they are right now, staying put. All that needs to be done is to find the Watchers and soon."

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. I wasn't stupid enough to try anything... well okay I might be rash... Okay so I would take the chance. I tried to visibly relax even though my mind still kept tabs on everyone in the room. Unconsiously I held Abigail closer to me, keeping her facing me and not the guns. No need for her to see any violence until she was older. Much older.

"If we can find them." I said sharply, "And if we cant then those girls are sitting ducks for whatever the hell is powerful enough to take out all those watchers! We dont even know that the watchers are alive Jess..."

"Because you say they are?" I asked. "Now who's being stubborn," I sat back. "Here's the deal Jessy. Take you're soldiers and bunk them in. then we'll talk. I don't know about the rest, but I'm not feeling too co-operative with a bunch of armed men threatening my friends and family."

"He's right Jess." I said calmly, "You need help, we need help, we both need to accept that and sit down on equal terms, or this isnt gonna work... and noone here can afford for it not to work. Thousands of live, maybe millions, hang in the balance... and it all depends on everyone here getting over their egos and clubbing in."

"And I don't feel too comfortable in a room with a whatever she is now who wants to kill me. Maybe I actually feel safer with these men in the room than I ever feel around you. And that's not true, Maya. You can choose whether or not you give a shit and some of you already seem to have decided that you don't. I can't because this is not my job, or my calling or my fucking hobby. These people are my life, not yours and I want to be in control."

"Utterly unprofessional, totally clueless..." I held up a piece of paper with the signature of one Rupert Giles. "Already alerted you were coming."

((Sorry Jess but you've been online at least four times since Doc's last post so I'm taking the next move.
Plus you've been on here enough times to make a post: Last Login Date: Today at 10:28am [our time] ))
I watched Jessy with interest now. She reminded me of a deranged child, one who wanted nothing more than to have her own way and with a suposed intent to kill if nessicary. But a child nother the less. Carefully I handed Abigail to Ricki who was sitting next to me. Slowly I stood up.
If I was right than she wasn't going to do anything. Hopefully I wasn't going to be proven wrong...
