Did you know that a cows spots are formed cos of chemicals called morphogens and their distribution makes funny peaks which make patterns and BOOM- spots!?

That was the plan. But it is true. Bit more complicated, but basically theres an activator and an inhibitor, and one makes pigment be produced, and one stops it. So on a graph for the activator, the peaks would indicate where there would be a spot.
