Lets just get to the point... My name is... well... I don't really know, but I just call myself Crystlis, because that is what was on the chart when I looked at it, so that's my name.
I am a failed experiment to combine human and insect together to form an ultimate fighting machine. I don't know anything about my past, before I found myself in that laboratory, I guess that I've been in there for quite a long time, not sure how long though.
Me, I don't know what my powers are, but I'm learning, so far, I know I've got tough skin, like an insect's exoskeleton, can feel vibrations in the floor, have a very good sence of smell, and can form a cacoon (hence the name).

except that Cell was made up of all the different fighters, whereas Crystlis is simply an insect... really, it's more like something out of Dark Angel than Cell....
(that's right, I used to watch DBZ *sweatdrop*)

Yeah, it sounds more DA. Plus, i cant stand DBZ, so for my sanity, it needs to be DA. And anyway, thats more plausible, cos we so arent letting this site get dragon-ball-ified. Its a buffy site!! and as the DA stuff was done by regular humans, it is therefore still plausible, but... ok, ill stop talking now.

DA = Dark Angel
The one set in the future with the trained kids with the barcodes on their neck, and Jessica Alba is all thiefy and there's a guy in a wheelchair. Uh Logan right? Like Wolverine.
I've only seen the pilot lol -_-;;

Seriously!? How could you watch the pilot and not watch the rest!? DA rocks- i have all the DVDs... but stupid fox cancelled it in favour of Joss Whedons 'firefly' which was then cancelled halfway through the season cos noone watched it, because DA fans boycotted it.  Haha. basically its genetically engineered supersoldiers, using like animal DNA and stuff to make them stronger faster etc- very very extremely cool- Max(J Alba) is the coolest. (hehe, and i did a fic where Faith is an X5... one of the super soldiers. lol) Ok, i rambled enough- getting me started on DA is BAD. Oh well. It rules. You should all go rent all the DVDs/videos and watch the lot. ANd girls, one word- ALEC!! Now off to daydream..... |

My dad has the DVDs but I haven't watched them. He also has Firefly which I want to watch cause it sounds amazing. And even though it got cancelled, he's persisting and making a movie instead ^.^
And I don't know why I never watched the rest. I guess it never appealed to me as much as other TV shows

See, all you have to say is 'Dark Angel' and I know what your talking about. I have DVD first season and teh PS2 game which apparently continues on from teh last ep. Did you know Max has a sister? An actual sister, not an X5 sis.
Faith as X5... hey, I think I read that one. Yeah, that's cool. I've got one started, but it's kind wierd. Maybe I'll put it up one day.
Firefly? Would you believe we never even got it. Seven (free to air) and Fox8 are happy showing DA (now you've got me doing it) repeats.

An actual sister!! How come!? I may have to get the game now! I cant find the last book ANYWHERE! i read 'before the dawn' and 'skin game' but i cant get 'after the dark' which is like the final thingy and its SOO unfair. I wanna know if Logan ever told Max about Seth, which is insinuated at the end of 'before the dawn' but argh!! She wouldn't be a happy bunny, would she? Lol.

Dude I have that PS2 game!
I am actually in the knowledge, this is good. Have only completed the first level though so not sure about the whole sister thing.
Oh and Doc, talking about fanfictions, what ever happened to that one you were writing aaaaaages ago on the other board and you asked if you could use our characters? I've always been interested to know what happened to that.
