I am a vampire. For centuries i have roamed the Earth, keeping myself underground so to speak, not flaunting my powers to idiot humans, and thereby allowing myself to walk in the world and go unnoticed.
But in recent years, i have found this increasingly tiresome. So many mortals know of our exsistence due the foolishness of my fellows that they know who i am before i show my true face... so why not strike first and have some fun while i'm at it?
It didnt take long for word of my strength and ruthlessness to spread throughout the underworld, but i was careful to leave no markers, no clues... human could not connect one murder to another, and my identity remained... and remains.... unknown. This lead to my being the first vampire ever admitted to a millenia old demon clan... and to my first encounter with her.
I listened to the screams as she killed them all.
I watched as she burnt the place to the ground.
I smiled as her heart broke.
Someday, i vowed, i will find her.
To look at, i am fairly ordinary, short, spikey brown hair, well built, average height... but my eyes, on closer inspection are such dark brown that they may as well be black.

Perhaps now my search might be over.
