Ever read Spiderman comics? Venom's basically an anti-Spidey. His suit is actually an alien organism that had been Spidey's costume for a while, that he rejected. It bonded to a guy called Eddie Brock and grew an intense need to destroy him. It has all of his powers, plus it's stronger, and it blocks his Spider Sense.
