Ashley gave rogue a little wave. She went on her back, swimming away from the couple, splashing them as much as possible with her feet.

"I guess," I sighed. "It happened when Elizabeth was five. A water demon was living in a near by pond and one night I let her go swimming and the demon tried to attack her so I intervined. It dragged me under and a vould barely fight under water. I don't like feeling helpless," I sighed, thinking it was a rather stupid fear.

Ashley climed out of the pool and onto the tallest diving board. "Doc! Rogue! Watch this!" She did a running jump. It went into a backflip then into a swan dive. Ashley landed gracefully in the water. A few seconds later, she broke the surface, shaking the water out of her eyes.

Ashley swam back to the couple, having no intent of making Rogue mess up again. "How was that?"
