"Uh, no," I said giving her an odd look. "Did you want an example?"

"Yeah! That is if you don't mind."

"I don't mind," I reassured her. I put the training sword down in favor of a real one. I unshethed it and placed the sheeth against a wall. I tossed the sword from one hand to another, testing it's weight against my palms. Once satisfied I held the sword in my right hand for a moment before swinging it into a single X. I took a few steps forward, the sword now loosly at my side, before bringing it up to my waist, with my wrist limp, but the sword level and steady.
In a quick motion, I did a circle, the sword hissing through the air; and I stopped at the place I started with the sword parallel to me. I did a small series of jabs with fluid motions.
"Like that. Think you can try?" I asked, steping to the side.

"It takes most people many years to do that. Some people who have natural abilities with weapons it only takes a small amount of time. People like you are natural fighters and people who are slayers," I said. "Always treat your weapon as an extention of yourself. If you do that then your weapon well be very powerful. My favorite, as you may have notice, is the sword."

"Well how can I treat it as an extention of my self if its made of medal, and I'm not?"

"Not to repeat myself but just have it complete any move you make," I said in reply.

"It's something you can really be told about," I said. "You just have to...practice. Get used to having an extra metre, more or less, on the end of you're arm. Let it do want you need to do."

"But doesn't that get in the way sometimes?"

"Not if you practice," I replied.

"Of course," I said, my Soul Sabre floating up to my hand, "it helps thatmys sword actually is a part of me."

I rolled my eyes at that. "It would but it takes more skill and practice to get a normal weapon to work that way."

"I know that," the Sabre flew to the weapons rack, knocking a sword loose and seding it into my hand, which I caught with a flourish. (((I gotta go. Mum's having a momeny. )))
