Abigail gave Rogue a confused look and Rogue nodded. A worried look crossed Abigail's face before she walked over to the book shelf and picked a book. Rogue walked over to a different section and picked a book and started to read.

I looked around, went to one shelf in particular, pulled a book out and pushed the button concealed with in. The shelf opened, revealing a secondary cavern filled with books.
"And you haven't shown us this before because...?" Jessy asked.I pointed down the end, to a book under a glass case.
"Notradamus' prophecies," I said. "Manuscript."

I looked at Rogue. "Nostradamus? He wrote this book that supposedly told everyone what was coming, problem is, no one's managed to decode them til after the fact, so there's no proof it's for real. I keep it there, though, just in case. This copy is also heavily protected by blessings, spells and a bunch of other things. Nostradamus believed his prophecies were for real, anyway."

"Chances that someone could read it?" I said. "Nostradamus was thought insane. So that might be the key. If a seer, or worse, Drusilla, got their hands on it and combined those writings with their gifts...of course, there are copies out there. This is the unabridged version."
