I'd been wandering aimlessly around the Dojo for awhile before realising I was getting kinda thirsty. I made my way to the kitchen and looked up in surprise at the new person in front of me.
"Hello," I said so as not to startle her. "Just, erm, getting a drink."

I grinned and got myself a drink. "Yeah, I'm an old friend. Well not too old but you get what I mean." She mentioned Rogue and I frowned, the whole situation not having sunk in quite yet. "You're one of the slayers then, right?"

"Yeah, she is..." I trailed off and bit my lip. "She was one of the very first people I met in LA. It's still kind of strange that everything is happening, still don't know all the details." Looking up I grinned. "Please, don't hesitate to shut me up whenever you want," I said.

"Naw, I don't mind. It's nice to talk to someone other than Ricki, Ashley, Vicky and Emiko," Lisa replied. "I don't know all to much of the details either. Right now it's easier to think vampire sorceress bad, Rogue bad. But that'll change soon. Doc's got a plan."

"That's cool," I said with a nod. "Up until now Mai's pretty much been the only non-vampy slayer in the family, it's nice to see some new additions to the group. I like to think of us like the X-Men you know? Everyone has their different mutant powers that they contribute. Brings some variety to battles."

"I have noticed. Doc even ran a simulation in the danger room where we acted a battle as different xmen characters," Lisa said with a small laugh. "Though Rogue doesn't like us battleing much until we have some more training. Not that I can blame her."

"I can't believe I missed that! That must've been so cool! Damn... We're gonna have to do that again some time," I said with a laugh. "No, I don't blame her either. Less training you have means more hurt, and that's a whole suckfest. I haven't done physical training for years so as soon as I get out there, I'll become the most bruised member of the team," I joked.

"Meddling with the controls would definitely make for a fun afternoon. What the heck, I do a little training and I lose some potential bruises. Thank God I've basically controlled the changes or I'd be black and blue," I said happily.
