I sat on a gravestone outside the mausoleum where my tomb was hidden for Maya.
I had prepared for her arrival, all I had to do now was wait for her to turn up...

I crept into the apartment, glancing at Josh's sleeping form, and being careful not to wake him as i collected the items i needed. I silently opened Aila's door to check on her and smiled- she was sleeping soundly. I stuffed the things in a bag, and hurried to the graveyard where Zeroc was waiting.

"You have everything you need?" I asked in reply...
"It's nice to see you to!" Maya said.
"I am sorry, I have been out of contact with humans for a while..." I said.
I led her inside and into my tomb...
"It is not as comfortable as your apartment, I am sorry... I tried to fix it up as best as I could." I told her.
The only thing around was a slab of concrete. The walls and floor were made of plain stone. Not the most homey place, but it was all I needed...
"I do not entertain often." I said.

i chuckled,
"It's fine." I said. "Where d'you want me to set up? I thought up a few extra measures to keep us on this plane, unlike last time."

"Useful, Z." i said sarcastically, "Really helpful." i glanced around, shrugged, and settle crossed legged onm the floor where i'd been standing- it was as good as anywhere. I set up the circle and ordered Zeroc to sit opposite me inside it, and took his hands, "Ready big fella?"

(((Sorry this took so long... I was trying to find the thread where we last went into my mind... couldn't find it... oh well...)))
I was unaware of what she meant by 'big fella'. But I had remembered somebody else calling me that once, who it was, I could not quite remember... (Was it you?)
Before I could think about it, we appeared in a desert, but not like other deserts. This one was cold and grey... not the same as I remembered it last time...
This time there were no memories flying past as we walked, but there was a tomb, in the distance.
"Um... inside?" Maya asked cautiously, obviously remembering what happened last time we entered...
"If we are able to, and have enough time, we can continue along to find something else, or we can go in, I would rather you decide." I said...
"Me?" Maya asked, "Why?"
"The last time I led, we got into a... mess... perhaps you could decide for us." I suggested...
(((Your decision, I'll make up what we see depending, but you make the choice... is that ok?)))

I frowned,
"Z... its your mind... in the end, you make the descision whether its conscious or not... so..." I shrugged, "Lets keep going then."

We continued past the mausoleum, onward into the desert...
A figure stood in the distance in front of us. I could not make out who, or what, it was, but as we got closer, the figure did not. It stayed the same size and at the same distance.
I looked back, the mausoleum was no further than before...
"It seems that you were right." I said finally and led her to the mausoleum.
Inside, was a hallway, somewhat narrower than last time, but still large enough to walk through comfortably.
Again, when we got to the end, there were three hallways...
"The same thing is happening... why?" I asked, confused...

I began to lead left, hoping that this would lead somewhere better than last time...
Maya started shivering...
"What is wrong?" I asked...
"It's getting really cold..." She replied.
I could not feel the cold, so it did not bother me, unfortunately, I did not know how to turn the heat up... my own mind, and I could not control it.
We arrived at a door... I noticed how cold it was when we got to it. There are frost on the door...
I looked back at Maya, she did not look too good.
"Is there any way we can get out of here?" I asked her...

"Are you sure you will be fine?" I asked.
"Yes, just keep going." She replied, her voice stern, but shivering...
I decided to do as she said placed my hand on the door, then jerked it back quickly...
"What's wrong?" Maya asked as she saw my reaction.
"It... it felt cold..."
