I took one look at the title over everyone's shoulder and automatically read aloud, "Secris Nominus Dietus Ferada. Ancient Secrets of Godhood Magic for Dummies." I translated. Literally, that's what it said.
Everyone stared at me, Rogue looking like she was three seconds away from going livid and beating me down to Hell and then right back up to Heaven without pausing inbetween.
"What?" I squeaked, not liking any of their looks.

(((Yeah. What? You never wondered about how the Greek gods were so into modern slang and other stuff? I say that they had knowledge of the future and used that to pun the title of that magic book. Which I think could be a cool 'Handbook' for that goddess character, come to think of it.))) ;D
"What?!?" I screeched as they just kept staring at me.

"hey I'm back and ready to...my book!! I was wondering where I had put that. Come to think of it where did I put it exactly?" I decided to ignore the strange looks I was getting from all directions, that was until I glanced downwards and realised that apart from my head I was wedged firmly inside a tree. "d**n!"

"Oh. Phew!" I wiped the sweat from my brow. They hadn't been staring at me after all. Good thing too, I would hate to explain exactly how I *could* translate that language into English.

Trying not to double over with laughter, i grabbed Ate's hand and pulled her magically from the tree, "You ok?" I asked with a wide grin.

I looked at Ate in the tree and almost started laughing. 'Funny!' I thought.

"Oh man," I muttered. "I thought I had it rough. You still haven't figured that out?"

"TPot, now is not the time for your insane imaginings," i muttered, looking at Ate. "So, what's up this time? Or did you miss again."

"But it's true!!" I protested, "Trees are jumping out in front of me and tripping me over."

"'Scuse me a moment," I dragged TPot into a mauseleum and locked the door. Everyone stared at me. "I'll let him out later."

I grinned at Doc, "Very good idea." I said, and turned back to Ate, awaiting her reply.

"Can I just say . . . THANK YOU!!" I almost hugged Doc at that moment, but I didn't. Cause we're men. And men don't do stuff like that. Secure girly women can, because they are emotionally secure women, but as men, we couldn't do that.
Still, I said thank you very loudly.
