"The best." I said with a grin. I really kinda wanted to hug Aredhel, i hadn't seen her in so long, but i thought better of it, figuring she probably wouldn't thank me for it. "And of course the Spot is the place to be." I thought for a moment, "Did draconis kill the barman before or after you left?" I asked as the group started out of the crypt.

'After definately. I miss that guy he was great, never looked at me twice when I ordered drinks'
'Yeah but neither does the new guy'
'Shush I'm reminiscing... Although come to think of it was Joshua around before or after you left? I think it was just before'

((I hope I'm remembering the right person right now...))
I looked down at the sword hanging at my side. The hilt was gorgeous: silver with the reddest of rubies laid into the hilt. The blade was hidden by the sheath, but I knew it by heart; every nick and scratch, every smooth surface was clear in my mind. It could but through anything I needed it to, and many things I didn't for that matter.
"Just before," I replied, showing the sword to remind her. Joshua had brought it to me.
Finding yourself is never easy. But when you've got a memento from your slaughtered daughter, it's even worse.

I nodded, the grin returning to my face. I performed a quick spell to hide the sword - I didn't make it invisible (keeping up those spells on objects takes far too much energy), merely unnoticed. Anyone who saw it would just completely ignore it. When I left the Spot, they'd have no idea that I could easily have cut off all their heads.
"I'm all for that plan," I said. Casting a glance over at Maya, I grinned. "And hey, I never did get you that drink... what was it? Cyanide?"
I had noticed from the beginning that fellow Mr. Undead hadn't been too keen on hanging with the Dream Team. The first time I met the dear Slayer Maya, I'd offered to buy her a drink of Cyanide. Our relationsihp had improved a bit since then.
Seeing that no one was actually moving, I took the first step out of my mausoleum. "Let's go, keep moving. Left foot, right foot. Come on you maggots!"

I jumped to attention and began walking, a million and one thoughts running through my head. There was alot of stuff that had been happening and some stuff that I was going to talk to Del in private about. Slowly I shook my head and grinned, bringing myself back into the present
'Ah yes the cyanide incident. In fact altogether there are many incidents, there's the tree growing out of the Spot floor incident as well'
[It's good to have you back Elfy]

"It was acid, actually." I said grinning. "Wow- it seems so long ago... i gotta tell you, a helluva lot has happened since you left. I reckon we need to have a major girl-talk session."

I walked through the graveyard, a stake in my head. I smiled as i caught sight of the gang walking in front of me.
"Hey guys." I said, joining the group. I looked back at where they had come from. "Where you just in a crypt?" I caught sight of the new girl, and smiled. "Hi, I'm Rachelle."

'Might as well follow' I thought to myself. I used my ability to grow skin to, well grow skin all over my body apart for my left hand (which is cursed) Then found some garmets to cover myself in before any of the humans got affended. I had to get something to cover up my left arm before I could resume heading towards a human leasure area.
Maya turned around and saw the person standing behind the group and asked "Who are... oh..." she recognised my arm.
"I need something to cover my arm up." I told the group, " before I head to the so-called 'Spot'. "

I tossed him a leather jacket, feeling a bit sorry for him. It wasn't easy having no skin on one arm. At least, it didn't look easy: I'd never had the experience.
"Here," I said, tossing him a leather jacket. "I picked it up while I was out. Forgive the tears, it's been through a lot."
A lot being a fight. The jacket was clearly made for men, and that's where I got it. Poor kid didn't stand a chance when he picked a fight with me: his older sister was a Slayer and he thought he could take on the vampires too. I didn't kill him, but I took a souvenir. Tibet's a nice place in June.
Not that I was about to share that with him.
"It's still a good jacket though."

"This will do" I said, "Thank you..."
I followed the group. I knew there was going to be nothing for me to do there, seeing as I don't drink (obviously, where's it going to go?) or assosiate well with humans, but I followed anyway.

"Hey 'Chelle- this is Aredhel." I said, "The group is a little big than it used to be." I said to Del. "Hey... Del... you remember Joshua? Well... did you like Joshua?" I was remembering how I had felt about Joshua at the time that Del was last around, and i was getting a little nervous about re-introducing them... with how things have changed an' all...

I looked over at Maya and raised an eyebrow. I had known him for, what? all of five minutes before I bailed? For an elf, that's not nearly long enough to form a good opinion of somebody. For a long while, I'd thanked him for bringing me the sword; he was a good man. But that wore off, and I began to resent him for opening up old wounds; he was an ignorant man. But that wore off too, and I was left to forget about him and not hold anything to his name.
"I haven't formed an opinion yet," I replied finally. Then I smirked and sent a mental-message to Maya. Just like the old days.
What are you thinkin' about, Slayer? I questioned. You know, you really need to remember to put up some mental blocks around me.
I just winked at the look she gave me.

I chuckled outloud, but mentally said [I've missed ya, Del.] We had left the graveyard now, and were walking along the street towards the spot...
((but we can keep in graveyard til we get to the spot to keep it simple!!))

I know, I replied simply. Looking around me, I grinned. I'd missed these streets.
((ooh, we'll just suddenly appear in the Spot... I'll start up a thread there now))
