"Neither of you is going!" I snapped, "You dont have that sort of power- it would kill you, or corrupt you, or something like that- you cant do it."
"I think shifting into a trex is pretty powerful thank you very much!" jessy retorted.
"Different kind of power!" I insisted, "And besides, you two were nearly dead a little while ago. Please dont make this any harder."

(((Sorry, I've been focusing on the 'Battle' links and didn't know this one had gotten so far, otherwise I would have joined in before now)))
"Oh for crying out loud!" I shouted as I broke off from the group and went straight for the open portal. I sent a few exploding time bubbles ahead of me, which ripped the demons transiting at that moment to pieces. When the way was clear, I bounded through the portal with what could only be Slayer strength.
I heard Mai shout just before I vanished from the Earth plane, but I couldn't even look back. I was too preoccupied with surviving.
To prevent the others from following, and as a temporary plug I put a Time Bubble shield in the middle of the portal creating a sort of clog of demons there. Having that shield there was also important to what I had planned.
Mai was right, magic was magic, but Skeletor was also. Only someone with the ability to manipulate dimensional portals could seal this. And only someone with enough power to intimidate a goddess even.
Surrounded by a second barrier, I sat crossleged on the rugged ground and began to concentrate.

"I'm not losing him." I said quietly, looking sideways at Nicki. "And breaking Joshua's barriers doesnt required wicked witchiness." I added in a snap. I raised one hand, and bombarded the shield with magickal energy as Willow and i had while helping Josh develop the damn things. In minutes, i punched a hole through, and jumped after him...

Only to be caught by me as I barreled out even faster than I went in.
"You have got to be one of the stupidest women I've ever been in love with," I told her idlely as we landed in the unnamed club on our feet and then turned around and watched with fascinated interest as the portal began to shrink in on itself.
As Mai looked, capital 'L' Looked at the shrinking portal, I'm sure she saw the runes of pure magickal energy I had erected all the way around, at seven points around the portal on this side and the other side. Not many could read them, but in the same demonic language that the Hell pitt I'd just been to, I had written, with anti-portal magickal energy; "Not today bub, and not tomorrow or yesterday either"
As the portal closed completely, I got slapped in the back of the head.
"Ow! What was that for?" I demanded to know, other than my complaint it was completely silent.

I saw them close the portal and snuck into the club area and threw a POWERFUL sleeping gas inside, I then covered my nose...
I ran into the gas as fast as possible to snatch Maya and ran off. "The rest are yours to do as you will!" I said to the figure that appeared behind me.
"Perfect, when they wake up, they will no longer have any of their powers!!" said the now more visible leech.
I ran back to a laboratory and placed Maya inside a large glass tube to study her... 'this one's a powerful one!' i thought.

I snuck out of the gas (I wasn't asleep because I don't need to breathe, therefor, I didn't breathe in the gas and didn't fall asleep) before the leech could get to me. I couldn't see what was going on inside the thick gas so I waited until I was sure he was gone...
When he left I went in and cleared the gas. I then woke TPot up... he turned around and gasped in horror.
"What?" I asked him.
"Maya and Jessy are missing!" He said in fear.
"Maya AND Jessy?" I asked in confusion, "but Jurag only took Maya!!"
"Well, Jessy's not here either!"
"The leech!" I said.
"What?" he asked in confusion.
On the wall, leech left a note explaining that the female shape-shifter had been taken for ransome by the leech.
We then woke up the others.

A roar of anger erupted from where I fell as teh Saber's healing power came into full effect.
"COME!" I roared, the Soul Saber exploded (literally) out of the rock Jurag had stuck it in, thinking it couldn't be removed, and flew into my hand. The bad guys always underestimate me. "He will not escape," I snarled, moving for the door.
"What about Jessy?" TPot asked.
"Go after her," I ordered. "If that overgrown ugly sh*t brained crater headed dimb bulb thinks for one minute he's escaping me, then he's got another thing coming. He's about to learn a very valuable lesson."
"And that is," the walking fossil (Zeroc) asked.
"Never harm my family."

I looked confused as to what a 'girlfriend' was... then I remembered something: "How are you humans going to rescue other humans without your powers?" I asked the humans. (by now Doc had already run off)
The time wizard looked at me confused, then tried to use his time powers, nothing happened. "How do you know that we don't have any powers?" he asked suspiciously
"I know the leech... he used to be an Undead Overlord, but lost his powers, he now steels others to build them up again." I explained.
We woke up the rest of the humans the non-magical way, they too had lost their powers, even TPot (just in case you think I left him out).
"Great! How are we meant to find this leech and destroy him?" TPot asked me
"Well MY powers won't do any good aginst him... he's undead, my powers barely affect him, and seeing as he used to be an Undead Overlord, whatever undead armies that I happen to raise up, he will no how to take control of..." I told him, while advancing to him "We'll have to do this another way..." I showed him a potion of souls.
Then something struck me. 'Another portal, Jurags opened another portal!' I thought to myself.
"Quick!" I yelled starting to run in the direction where the human who holds the saber (Doc) ran, "we MUST catch up to your other humans friend (again, Doc), I know where Maya is!"

"Let me go! Let me go!" I screamed at the disgusting crature in front of me. Somehow he had removed my powers and now I was chained to a wall.
"No way. I want more power and until your friends give it to me you are staying here. Or," he added as a afterthought, "I could just slit your throat."

I was still standing in disbeleif as everyone was discussing Maya and Jessy. I reread the note left by the leech.
If you value your young friend's life, find powerful beings and bring them to me at midnight. If you do not do this you will find your friend's body behind the bar of the Club "Spot". Power is what I want.
I couldn't beleive it. Jessy, dead. It couldn't happen, it mustn't happen. I tried to move, but my legs wouldn't oblige. I just slid into a sitting position and locked myself away in a corner of my mind, leaving my body vacant.

As i slowly regained consciousness, i felt two things
1. a major headache
2. something is so not right.
The second was confirmed when i tried to move, and found that both my arms and legs were magically bound, and upon opening my eyes i found that i was in a ...a tube. A tube? Right... i looked around, and saw Jurag. So i yelled,
"Oi! Let me out you ugly son of b*itch!" So perhaps insulting him might not be the best way to go about things, but somehow i felt that saying 'pretty please' wouldn't help either. Anyway- he ignored me.
I tried to blast the tube with magic, but found that it was surrounded by a magickal shield.
Great. I thought. Bloody brilliant. Then i had a thought, and prayed that it would work.
[Joshua!?] I called out mentally, praying that even if the shield dampened my magic, our connection would still be maintained. [Joshua!] i cried out again, [can you hear me?]
