"No. Not exactly," Rogue replied as something moved under the sand again. "There is a bottom."

"So, pit monster, or tunneler?" i asked. I couldn't tell just yet, though with it going down, I was guessing pit monster. We couldn't tip the thing, and there was no telling how strong it's digestive juices were.

"You'll have to be surprised," Rogue grinned, "It is rather hungry though. My other self forgot to feed the poor thing."

((See ya.))
The ground began to spiral, once again.
"You may want to hurry. There are only 3 levels left."

The easiest way to get out would be to tip it over, but Illyria and I don't have enough strength. Besides which, the whatever it is would be free to enter this section. And we'd be in worse than we are. There has to be something...

"Your running out of time," Rogue mocked from the other side of the glass.

"Quiet," I snapped. There's a bottom, yet the sand keeps dissappearing. That tells me there's someway of letting the sand out. Maybe an exit? Not enough data to come to that conclusion. Move on.
The scene on the outside of the glass is an illusion, so it may not even be glass. Again, there may be a door we can't see, but that doesn't help. That panther thing...
Doesn't seem to like me, yet it seemed to think Illyria not worth the time. Or perhaps no danger. Can i use that? Maybe later.

((Ohhhhhh! I was wondering if he would notice that. You need to up date yourself with large cat behavior. Heres a little lession. When a large cat makes a huffing noise it is to show respect or that it is comfortable. Much like a normal cat's purr.))
The panther looked at the scene before looking at the illusion of Rogue before making the huffing sound and laying down.

Hm, okay, not a derogatory noise. Maybe... respect? Hm, that could be useful. Later. For now...
The lump appeared again. "So away," I said, swinging my Sabre lazily. It scratched agains tthe creatures carrapace. I waited for the sand to lower again...
But nothing happened. Of course! It's the...whatever it is. When i scratched it skin, it distracted it.
"Illyria, the sand whatever's lowering the sand level. Kill it!"
"Finally," the Demon King said, getting ready to jump on the thing.
"Alright," I muttered, swinging my Sabre. "Time to go to work."
