Rogue kind of tensed upon hearing Audra's name but brushed it off. "All the shit does not get dumped on you. Not everything happens to you. You can't take everything personally. Sure shit has happened but everyone gets some shit. Sadly it's people like us who get more than we deserve."

"Hmmph," I muttered, getting to my feet. "Well, the puzzle sucks. Just give me a minute," I moved over to Jasmine's body, fixing every detail vividly in my mind.
"What are you doing?" Illyria asked.
"Learning some new techniques," I said. "For when we catch up to Audra."

"Right..." i said, stopping as i recognised the scene. "Predictable, if anything."
"Why?" Rogue asked.
"This is where Charlotte supposedly died," I said, a tinge of guilt. "I didn't do enough to figure out what happened, why she'd apparently destroyed Maya's daughter. We later discovered that Aila had been taken by interdimensional demons, when she came back a teenager, and that Charlotte had been manipulated. Then, that she wasn't dead. If I'd done more...I always though maybe something else could have happened. But...if the puzzles fallingback on this, it must be running low on steam. I came to terms with this a long time ago."

Rogue shrugged. "I guess so. Remind me to take apart all the spells from my crypt," Rogue replied.

It was like I was trapped in my worse nightmare. Correction, it was my worst nightmare. I couldn't move, i couldn't speak as Laurana strode towards me with a purpose. Worse yet, Rogue and Illyria had vanished, leaving me alone.
"I told you I'd come back for you, pet," she purred. This was hell, I thought as she wrapped herself around me. Pure and simple. "And I guarantee, it's going to be just like old times."

"Oh what fun," Laurana purred. "Let's get started shall we? We'll make it easy," the was a feelling of metal and ivory in my hand. One of the pistols she gave me when I was her pet assassin. God i can't do this again. "It's very simple, pet. You remember that politician you were supposed to kill last time? the one you failed on?" How could i forget, that was when i broke free. "I think it's time you finished you're mission, don't you?"
"Yes mistress," the words ripped from my mouth without my permission. I hated this.
"He's all yours pet," suddenly, i was standing outside the man's house as he walked uo. myhand came up, the gun pointing at him. I pulled hte trigger, the man fell to the ground...
All because i wasn't strong enough.

Rogue watched angerly as Doc shot the man. She regretted ever having this puzzle put in. She never thought she'd have to use it on one of her friends.
