((('kay)))
My blade sliced across a wing with a sound like paper tearing. For some reason, that didn't seem...right.

((Sorry. My mom was taking longer than expected to leave.))
As if that was what they were made out of the wing that was cut seemed to mend together.

(((Sorry this took so long. Net troubles. ))) "Great," I muttered. "Enhanced regeneration. Illyria, head into the other statues, but some distance between them and us til we can get some ideas," we melted into the shadows, using the statues as cover. there had to be somway to beat them, obviously, Rogue's word hadn't worked on these traps. So what now?

((I would have had the word work on this trap but it seemed to fun to leave out.))
The gargolyes seemed unable to find the two but knew that they were still around.

I watched from the shadows as the Gargoyles stalked through the statues. One got to close and a stone spear statue. I waited for it heal, but nothing. Intrigued, I watched another get too close to a stone sword. Again nothing. I got one of the stone swords, snuck up behind one and removed it's head. The two peices turned to stone and shattered as they hit the ground.
Bingo.
"Illyria, use the weapons form the statues," I said. Their was no answer, just an explosion of stone as a heavy mace turned one of the remaining three to dust. The other two were destroyed in quick succesion. "So much for that."

Rogue sighed annoyed. All the traps left would be useless against them. 'Damn my counter part,' she thought to herself as she unsheethed a sword ready for them to come. The panther stood next to Rogue. Zack had taken Abigail and Duckie to the room behind her so they would be safe, they also had an escape route incase things went wrong.
((Which the slayers have covered but she doesn't know that.))

I extended the blades i kept up my sleeves, held one arm outstraight, the other over my head. One last time.
"It's been fun," i said. "Not as much fun as that night," I hazarded a look at her belly. "I'm sure you understand though."

Rogue only glared at him, not going to make the first move but ready to attack or to defend.

"Well then," I said, stepping forward. "No need to delay the inevitable," my heart was in my throat. I didn't want to do this, but it was my responsibility.
