"Tucker?" I blurted the moment I saw the man with the girls.
"Oh," he said, looking at me, "*That* Joshua."
"What the hell are you doing here?" were the next questions asked, coming out of both of out mouths at the same moment.
"JINX!" we both shouted then.
"You two know each other?" Doc asked to make sure.
"We go to the same school, and as far as I know," I answered, "until right now we both thought the other was entirely normal. So what is the head of the Wiccan Club and Secretary for the Physics club doing in a city that has apparently been rendered 'Supernatural entities Only'?"
"I could ask the same question about the President of the Film club, Photo club, and Chairman of the Yearbook Committee, and also resident Temporal Physics genius," Tucker immediately fired back.
After a couple minutes tense staring, I break the ice so to speak, "Time Wizard. You?"

I glared at Doc, and sent Nicki a knowing look as Tucker and Joshua chatted like, well, school boys.
"Oh Yippee.He has a friend." I murmured, then added, "And... if he's head of the wiccan club it really isn't that surprising that hes knows something about magic, is it, brainiac?"

I folded my arms and looked at Joshua and Tucker as they continued to chat animatedly
'That is so unfair!' I directed my comment to Doc and Maya 'I find myself a new friend and Joshua takes him away' I suddenly smiled 'God Maya your boyfriend sucks'
Feelin better already!

I've never seen a human move so fast as Doc did right then to stop me throttling Nicki. I glared at her, and said,
"Not my boyfriend!"
Nicki giggled, clearly very pleased at her ability to wind me up. Joshua and Tucker had paused at my out burst, adn were lookng our way.

'Okay okay! I swear that from now on I will not make any wisecracks, cause I love ya too much for you to be pissed at me all the time. Plus you're a slayer and you'd win the fight and I'm a sore loser'

I looked over at Tucker and smiled at his expression
'Maya is slightly insane, very prone to violent outbursts but altogether a good guy. Well we're all a little crazy but I guess you'll just get used to us'

I smiled sweetly, silenty thinking that if he got used to Joshua, i would be a piece of cake.

I gave a short laugh
'Mostly when someone is pissing you off though which is usually every day' I glanced at Joshua and then looked back at the stairs 'Jeez... we were supposed to be weapon hunting and we totally got off track!'

(((Not part of story: I purposely left it hanging at the beginning there because I don't know what powers that this "Tucker" has. You two, Maya and Nicki, brought him up/in, so you get to define his character.
I said "Time Wizard", he's now supposed to say "what" he is.

"As you were asking before the looney tried to kill her friend," Tucker said, "I just dabble... Magic stuff, you know, wicca. Hence the Wicca club."
I smiled smugly at this.
"Come on, Nicks." I said, "Lets go find some weapons for the next time we need to save a buncha boys."

"So you're just a witch? Of the male variety that is?" I ask him while the others go on, the two of us staying in the Lobby for the moment.
He nodded, "Yeah. I'm not exactly on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, or even Bewitched level of power. But I can call energy, usually fire or wind elements, and I've got a couple of magic powers. Telekinesis, scrying, and I can successfully cast just about every spell I've yet tried."
"Huh," I grunted in acknowledgement. "Well, I doubt you're ready for the big leagues, which this is. But . . . then again the first time I was attacked by a demon for my powers, neither was I. Come on, it's time I showed these kids why I *really* brought us all here."
"Kids?" Tucker snorted. "Some of them, especially the May girl with the attitude, looks like they could rip you to shreds!"
"Yeah, well, something they tend to forget when dealing with a Time Wizard," I reply as we round the corner to where the others are waiting for us, "is that I can repeat days. And that means that I've got the experience of an 80 year old."

I walked along with Mai to the stairs and sighed
'I really wish we could figure out what was going on and where everyone is. It feel so empty in the city'
Maya nodded as we began to descend the stairs and she frowned for a few seconds
'You ever think that he is holdin back on extra wiggy info?'
I shrugged, just wanting to get some protection against the forces of evil
'You can always use your charms' I noticed her glare 'Hey I was not making with the wisecracks!'
