"And some ribs" I said. "Yeah, 10 minutes got you" I said and put down the phone. "Ohmigod" I said suddenly"I....I forgot....I FORGOT CHEEEESE!!!!!" I said faintly.

I ran across buildings, like a shadow, escaping from the moon's light, I lept from building to building, watching, scanning, for anything that might prove helpful.
The Shadowrunners were definantly out tonight, but were keeping concealed, and doin a very good job with it to.
I stopped at a building sitting near the edge of a highway. I watched as cars drove down, just standing there... thinking of what I could possibly do tonight.
Memories came back to me... horrible memories that I wish could just go away:
"Ok, "said the man in the business suit, "here's all the info... you've got what you want... now could you please leave?"
"I don't have everything!" I told him, pointing a gun to his head.
"Wait... you said that if I gave you what you wanted, you wouldn't kill me!" He reminded me.
"I lied." I said, then shot.
I blinled, and was brought back to the real world. I knew exactly what I had to do tonight.
I ran back the way I came... still over buildings.

I heard a loud thump and poked my head out the window. Someone was on the roof. Hmmm.

(((I'm quite silent when I run over the rooves or on the ground... like a shadow... but... oh well.)))
I continued to run, looking for the man who was looking for me... not knowing that I was the person he was trying to find.

"Ah well" I said. These noodles were GREAT. "We finish the food and THEN we chase Big Bird. Okay guys?" I looked around. It was a statement rather than a question. No-one was gonna get between me + my noodles!

Whoever this guy was, he was good.
And he was baiting me. It was the only reason I could find that would explain why i could suddenly find tracks.
I leapt across the rooftops quickly, keeping pace with the perp. I was getting answers, whether this guy liked it or not.

I watched the man jump across the rooftops while waiting in the shadows... unseen... unheard.
I sat patiently. He was following the trail I left. Perfect.
He stopped where the trail ended. On a rooftop not to far from where I was, but far enough away so if he noticed me, I could get away.
'Now!' I thought and kicked a rock to the floor in front of me.
He noticed it. In my head I commended him on his hearing abilities... than jumped down, and quickly turned into the dark room right behind me.
I made sure that he saw me.

"So, you want to play, huh?" I muttered, triggering the teleport ability I'd discovered whilst training with Joshua so long ago and appeared in front of him. "Fine then. I game."

I teleported behind the man. The door suddenly closed behind him.
"I need to talk to you!" I said.
He looked back at the door... there was no way out. We were in the darkness... I activated my Shadowpowers, disbling his teleporting ability.
"About what?" He asked.
"There is a danger approaching... you must know that this is not a normal invasion. But something much more serious!" I told him, "by the way... my name's Cervantes... you?"

"Doc," I said, adding," You could have just asked you know?"
"What?" Cervantes asked. I think I threw him off a bit on that one.
"You walk up to me and say, i need to talk to you, it's urgent," I said. "Then we find a nice public place where neither of us can try anything and chat. Ettiquette aside, though, what can we expect?"

"Whatever..." I shook my head.
"What do you want anyway... and make it quick." Doc demanded.
"I must tell you of what has been happening lately... there is a great evil that is heading for this city at an accelerated speed..." I explained.
"So?" Doc asked, "we've dealed with stuff like that before... what's the big urgency?"
"This is not like anything you've faced before. It is a danger that cannot be stopped in anyway that I yet know... and I've been facing it for many many years." I told him, "look... I am warning you now. They will be here in a matter of days, three at the most, I doubt any less than two."
"Ok, so, basically, something is coming in two or so days, and I've gotta get prepared for it?" Doc asked.
"Yes. Warn the others you assosiate with, and when they get here... prepare to hide... they will break through any shields, nothing will defend you." I said.
Doc went to say something, the the door opened, Doc turned to look and I disappeared.

I stood outside the door and waited for Doc. Thanks to his phone and Mal's Global positioning satalite technology, finding him hadn't been hard. "So, what's the sitch?"
