One of the shadows near the cross seem to come alive as to arms came out, pulling two of the gueards together. A figure dressed in black stepped out, without any hesitation, racing over to the cross, freeing Roigue from her bonds. The shadow made by the cross rippled as they vanished through it, appearing in another shadow behind Francois.
"IOf you want a fight, Marcus, there's no need to bring Rogue into it," Doc raised his head, looking dead at the priest. "I'm right here."
"Impossible!"

I wrapped an arm around him, glad to have him back, even if I hurt like hell.

"What was you're first clue, meat head?" Francois asked as i moved behind Rogue.
"Sot still," i said, a light glow radiating from my hands, healing the burns.

"She deserves to..." I ran forward, hitting him with strength my rebirth had granted. I let myself fall into my shado, through my shadow, coming out of a shadowon a wall intime to grab him and smack him against it.
"YOU HURT HER!"
"Sapristi!"

I thrught Marcus to one side, then jumped into the shadow, coming out of another to deliver a massive kick in mid air, causing him to fall right in front of Rogue. I strode up to him, pullig him up by the hair. "Now. Say sorry to the lady."

"I will..." I shoved his hace into the shadow. When it came out he was pale, his face frozen in a mask of fear.
"Apologise," i said. "Or next time i leave you there."
"M-my most esteemed apologies gracious lady," he stuttered out in fear.
