I held up a hand, pushing him away from me with all the strength and magic I could muster before running for it, fleeing up the stairs, out of the school, as far away from that basement as I could get.

Ashley ran to the basement with the janiter's keys, only to find the door already open. "Dude!" Ashley threw herself down the stairs, going two at a time. She saw Doc, only Doc. "What happened? Are you alright?"
