Amy gave Jessy one last hug and kiss before she had to leave to get on the plane. I watched sadly as she went Abigail next to me watched silently, not knowing the girl she had nothing to say.

"You okay?" I asked Rogue, standing on the opposite side to Abigail. The vampire had started clinging to Rogue since we'd caught Zack. I didn't mind. As long as she didn't try something.

Abigail watched Doc wearily. She never really liked any of Rogue's boyfriends exspcially the one that decided that she was to much drain on Rogue and tried to stake her(Abby) but Rogue enterfeared and threatened to stake him if he came close to her and Abby again.

I was fiddling with the small saphire inset ring. She had promised, but we both knew it was a symbol. Ten years was too long. Other people would come, rings lad aside, telephone calls made. All to tell us what we already knew.

I watched from a bit of a distance- i was here for Aila, barely knowing Amy myself. They had hugged briefly, and now Aila was eying Jessy warily as she talked to Doc. My daughter wasn't great with emotional stuff, something i had an awful feeling she had inherited from me. I'd gotten better at it recently... maybe i should talk to her... I sighed, and leant back against Joshua, who had his arms around me.
"You ok?" he asked me. I nodded,
"Yeah." I said quietly.
